God dammit. I'm an idiot and I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and I accidentally loosened the strut top nut instead of tightening it and the strut completely fell out from it.
And to add insult to injury, I don't have the tools to fix it.

what tools do you need? I can toss my small tool box in the back of the car. You can borrow it.
You should be able to just push that bad boy back up in there while the car is on ramps. Just put it on ramps then jack it up a little. Get it lined up and lower the jack so it's back on the ramps. Toss on the bolt and tighten it.
Auto Innovations ain't got **** on Kyle hahaha
Kyle came over and fixed it, not only that, we got the clunking to go away completely on the drivers side. I guess there was a washer on top of the coilover in between the top of the strut and the top hat.
Well that fell off when the coilover came loose and when we put everything back together it stopped clunking. I think that spacer was never suppose to be there in the first place and the previous owner put it in.
ummmm....

Added a spacer take away a washer lol, I'm glad the clunk went away, shoot me a txt if it starts clunking again. It seems pretty solid to me now though

Just got a confirmation on my LGT brakes. Dude is gonna give me a couple days to decide. I might have the fronts locally. But either way, I'll have my brakes. Woot!
Gonna run LGT front and rears and probably do the STI master cylinder/booster upgrade but we'll see. Might say screw it and leave it on the shelf until I pull the motor out.
So stoked. The LGT set up is actually pretty sick on our cars.
And I'll probably be picking up whiteline HD front and rear end links as well. My perrin rears are seized and I need new front ones. That'll be it for a while. I have to put some money away for tires and my trip to CO to snowboard.

Any of you guys know Alexander Ratliff? He was the kid killed in that accident the other day out here in Salinas area. I guess he was in an 06 Impreza.
