Wasn't that suspension from the wrx that was in a wreck? What if a strut got damaged?

Well he got side swiped but the rear fender wasn't even touched. I'm gonna swap out the rear top hats and if that doesn't work I'm selling them on Nazioc.

Were any of the wheels damaged? Doesn't take much force to mess something up

No the front right wheel blew a tire but that's it. All the wheels were clean with no scuff marks on them.

I used to run camber plates and I had ZERO clunking. I've actually never had a clunking issue with all my suspension set ups.... until now. Stupid Perrin end link.

ah thats ****ty...i had a clunk on my old suspension, i took it apart a million times but never figured it out..my theory was that the rubber piece that sat in between the spring and strut was moving, and it would clunk when it wasnt in place right, but i never saw any signs of rubbing on either so i got fed up and sold them

the guy who ran them after me said he never had problems, and the person before (ray) didnt have noise either

this was spec-c sti struts/springs and groupn tophats

I'm fed up with it and I made an appointment with GST Motorsports. Clint at TIC guided me over there. LIC and all the other shops are a bit far.

Yeah I would love to run the AST 4100 coilovers but they're 2k and for that much I think I would run the RCE Tarmac 2 or TIC SSTs. They're customer support is A+++.

I'll check out Mann Engineering if GST fails me.

Yeah there's Cusco, Ohlins and the rare ZZYZX coils.

I'll give them a call tomorrow, they're probably closed by now.
