Those are the best 3.

Struts... Koni is the way to go. GR2's are made to fit but yeah they're pretty much a stock replacement. Slight step up.. The AGX is a step better but you have to do the GC8 fronts like I did. And run camber bolts front and rear to have the most adjustment short of plates.

I think Tokico makes a set to fit now. I haven't tried it but from reading nasioc it seems to be getting decent reviews. You can also try and find JDM struts. The inverted wagon struts are dope.

If you're gonna run a sedan strut... i.e. revolved sti struts, you should get camber plates for the front and some saggy but shims for the back. So right there you're spending more than what koni's would cost and you have an inferior strut.

Camber is everything. That's why I drill on all these hella flush ding dongs all the time. You can take a stock suspension WRX and change nothing but the camber settings and have a completely different car that probably handles better than some ****** slammed on coil overs with -4 degrees of rear negative camber an no camber in the front. I'd actually prefer to drive the car with stock suspension. LOL!

Seriously... camber is that important.

Test it... keep your current set up. Go get an alignment. Run -1.5 up front and -0.5 in the rear. Tell me how much different it feels.
The front already has camber bolts. You would just need rears. With my GC8 fronts and camber plates I could go to -2.5 if I wanted to. The problem that people don't take into account with Wagons is the extra weight over the back axle. Sedan struts in the rear work fine and you'd get the necessary camber, but yea, you'd need the saggy butt shims. But even with that, the front would still be higher due to the higher perch.

To runboyrun: Seriously, try to find somebody selling stock wagon suspension and save up for Koni's. Do it once and you won't have to deal with it again. You could probably sell those Tein's with EDFC for $500 at least. The Inverted struts are difficult to come by. Koni's are more readily available and worth every penny.

With the stock camber bolts up front I could not even get to stock spec with sedan struts up front. You have to oval out the hole or run double camber bolts which is a no no. Or run camber plates.

Some folks can get right around stock specs (-0.3) up front. You won't get much more up front with sedan struts. GC8 or wagon specific are the only way to hit those number (which we both have).

The rears work just fine. With camber bolts you can get all kinds of camber adjustment out of them. But yeah the weight and the perch combine to create serious saggy butt.

When I was running the spec C set up I had saggy but in the back (Even with wagon springs) and the front was raised due to the camber plates... created a car that refused to turn in (ask gagan about the science on that one. LOL!). That's why I sold the plates. THen I ran in to the camber issues even though all those genius' told me I could hit specs.

Hence the reason I say.... those people are FOS! I had 3 alignment shops work on my car before I admitted I should have kept the plates and just put shims in the back. Haaa.

Honestly wish I still had that set up.

Justin... with just the GC8's I can hit right around -2.2 easy, I run -1.8 now. With the plates I could get to -4. LOL! Now shut up and put that wagon set up on your car before I steal I pull a swaperoo.

Sweet. I'll be here.

Yeah I pretty much always get Chile Verde but lately I've been getting creative. The pollo and the pastor are both killer. I'm pretty much set on staying away from all the beef products now. Usually to dry for my liking. The Asada is good for torta's though. Tortas are pretty bomb there too but it's hard to pass up the tortillas. Haaaa.

Yeah my building is right next to it. There's the mechanic shop right next to it. Then a street... then a building. Says American Titling on the front of it. Gray building. I work in the back. Big pull up door. My car is always parked back there. Crack heads keep and eye on it for me.

You and me both.

I'm placing my final order for my suspension repairs so I'll have all those parts next week. Gotta do those and then fix that starter wire and the turbo asap. My car is running like butt.

Suspension bits here and on the way...
Whiteline HD rear endlinks
Whiteline HD front endlinks
Karboy rear subframe outrigger bushings
Whiteline rear subframe locks
Whiteline rear sway bar lock down rings.

Hopefully that'll fix all the squeaks and clunks.

Then I've got to install the sti cat less up pipe and pick up a TD04 to install.

Fix that wire. Fix my foglight. Then I should be done for the winter.

Do the clutch and diff fluids come summer.
