I believe we have the same transmission
so that brings me to my next question... is your DCCDPro installed?
you probably have a "Impreza WRX STi 2003 V-limited - GDBD4JH" engine this is a version 8 engine. It also has what appears to be a JDM Spec C intake manifold but it looks different than the ones that I've seen so far...

Oh yea, should have shown it to you last night.
Yes and it works great! Auto mode works it taps into the TPS wire and its own g-sensor to determine the amount of torque split. Manual mode works as well. It also wires into the STi gauge cluster for the DCCD indicator lights.

did you drive the car without the dccdpro hooked up? if so did you notice a difference afterwards?
I'm planning on getting that same one you got but already have the manual/auto switch and adjustment wheel so that's a savings of $150

Nope I hooked it up while I was doing the swap. The closest I got was running in full rear in Manual Mode. Haven't driven it hard yet so I can't really say if I felt a difference. But I can say its better than being stuck at 35:65.

Went to get an alignment and found that the front wheel bearings have some play and my old steering rack is leaking and the inner tie rods are worn.
Gives me an excuse to order one of these http://www.apromachining.com/index.htm

I say you don't need it jared. honestly if you've never had a quick rack before you can **** your **** up quick with it.
you need to show me how your controller works btw. wheel bearing replacement sucks *****... i haven't done it but it's a world of hurt waiting if you can find some stock hubs or wrx 5x100 hubs that are still good that'll give you some time and it should be a direct swap.
