car bogs in first gears at 5000RPM
Ever since I installed the Turbo XS RFL BOV, my car seemed overly sensitive. It would make the "swoosh" sound at any pound of boost. I would barely step on the gas and let go and it would vent. It seems like the spring on the BOV is too soft. I tightened the cap, but it's still sensitive. The GFB that I used to have never vented until I shift at 3500 or more RPM, but with the Turbo XS it seems to vent at any RPM. Is this normal? Thanks guys.

vacuum will open it up also...when you let off the throttle, vacuum is created in the IM. doesn't the RFL have washers to change the tention? sounds like you're leaking boost at 5k...only thing i can tell you is to tighten it up as much as possible, or add washers.
