Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Boost gauge is wrong after up/downpipe install.

Woo-hoo! Think I found the problem! One of the bolts connecting the uppipe to the turbo is spinning freely in it's mount. Either the bolt or the threads on the uppipe are stripped. Now that definately doesnt sound like a good seal to me. I think I've found my leak. I'll pick up a new bolt this week and attempt to replace things next weekend.

Cool deal! I saw another post that explained loss of boost is directly related to exhaust leaks...
