Thumbs down Problems after boost gauge install!!! (Help?)

So I finally tried to put in my blitz ac boost gauge. Everything seemed to go fine and I made sure to be careful not ripping any hoses and such.
After the install, the gauge seems to be working fine, but

1) my car is idling and running like crap!.
Can't go over 0.5 on the gauge.

2)I hear hissing from the engine but can't seem to locate it. Everything seems to be hooked up right

3) CEL is flashing constantly,

4) When the car is at the "on" position, There are clicking sounds from the engine and the Fan seems to go on+off sporadically....

I reversed everything and the problem persists.

If anyone has any ideas, please help me out. Low on cash ( as why I attempted the install meself) so I don't want to bring it to the shop at this point.

Is it dangerous to drive like this? Any help greatly appreciated.

If someone is willing to take a look about the CEL, that would be awesome as well.

Anywho thanks everyone.
Frank

make sure the line from the boost gauge is properly hooked up the the vac. hose that you taped into. If it isn't you will leak and you will get alot of hissing. Also the not being able to go over .5 is because the car is in limp mode. Just go back and zip tie or find a way to secure the lines.

I concur, check for leaking around where you tapped the boost line... Make sure everything is zip-tied properly.

Would a vacuum leak throw a constant blinking CEL? Everything seems to be secured and tight, but I still hear hissing.....

Check for another vacuum line that may have been pulled loose during the install.

Wierd, wierd stuff.
Just pulled the codes--
p0500 Speed sensor malfunction
p1518 starter switch circuit (low input)
p1591 neutral postion switch circuit (low input)
p0136 rear oxygen sensor circuit malfunction
p0131 Front oxygen (A/F) sensor circuit range/performance
problem (low input)
p0132 Front oxygen (A/F) sensor circuit range/performance problem (high input)

All this from a boost gauge install? Or just a coincidence? If someone can help shed sum light on this situation that would be greatly appreciated.

My worst nightmare has come true....

You could always plug the boost gauge vacuum lines and put the engine vacuum hoses back to stock to see if it was actually the install that caused the problem.

Hissing sound is not normal.

Whoa, that almost sounds like there is an electrical problem. Is the hissing sound something really noticible or could it have been there all along and you just now noticed it because something has gone wrong (happens a lot). Also, did you tap into the electrical system for power/illumination for the gauges and if so where? Maybe if you go over the install step by step someone here could better suggest a possible problem... I can't really come up with anything for you right now, sorry.

I attached a 't' fitting from FPR on BOV to the gauge. Ran it thru the firewall @ the recommendation of SOA's boost gauge install write up.
Removed the lower steering wheel panel, ran the hose thru dash to the a-pillar
Removed and disconnected the radio,
located the blank plug where the factory boost gauge is powered. (1 purple, 1 orange wire) Pluged the power line in the purple, and grounded it to a screw....
Believe it or not that's all I did.
Any master backyard mechanics out there willing to take a look?

ebony is just sitting there looking real sad. I wish I could do something to make her feel better. I wish cars were as easy to please as women. Hell, flowers and a  would suffice

That's gotta be electrical...if that's all you did. Unplug it and see what happens.

also...to clear the limp mode...unplug the battery and step on the brake until the odometer goes blank. If it doesn't come back with the gauge unplugged, that's what's wrong.

I also note that "hissing" from the engine bay is also not normal.
