Yes, I know this is a double post but I need a hand and I'm hoping there's a talented and knowledgable WRX individual in BAIC that might 've encountered my problem or read of it before:
I installed a Helix flex uppipe and TurboXS stealthback exhaust and now my (OEM) boost gauge is out of whack. Idles at about -.06 (vacumn) and hits .02 under WOT. All the lines look fine. I've checked every hose I can find that's anywhere near the turbo and otherwise. Still the problem persists yet everything sounds and feels like it's running fine.
When I turn the engine off the needle moves back (up) to zero. Otherwise my car revs fine, hits boost fine, the needle moves smoothly, it just starts at -.06 instead of 0.
I've searched on here and the other board but I can't find the problem posted by anyone else. Anyone got any ideas?

It's idle behavior sounds fine. You're supposed to idle in vacuum.
And it's supposed to return to zero when the car is off.
As far as the peak boost being 0.02...that's really low. So if there are a couple possibilities:
1. Car really is making that little boost (ie wastegate stuck open, something leaking, etc), but you said it felt normal...so that's probably not the case.
2. A line to the gauge is leaking
3. The gauge is fux0rzed. I guess this is a possibility but I think unlikely, especially since you've been messing around with the turbo.
Hope you can figure it out.
