Even so...
We all know that the redline for the valvetrain is much higher. We also know that previous EJ25 engines had a redline of 6250 IIRC. The redline on the WRX is also 7K, but the rev limiter is at about 7300-7400.
So, how much can the engine rev before it hits the rev limiter? With forged crank, rods and pistons, is the EJ25T well within it's limits at 7000RPM? ...or is it close to grenading?
