That's exactly how we were thinking of it, and your logic is what prompted the idea btw. Just don't want to say a hard yes or no til I get say so from the powers that be.

I'm waiting to hear myself. Stay tuned/PM me if you don't hear back soon.
From the main BAM thread...
TIME:
Doors at 10:30. If you choose to show up earlier, it's on you. But don't plan on having anyone else there and I'd prefer if you didn't show up earlier. The event ends whenever you want to leave but the official end is 3pm. There will be food somewhere around 12:30 and there will be more than likely 2 or possibly 3 different raffle times. If you choose to leave too early you'll likely miss out on some of the larger raffle items.
The only times set in stone are the 10:30 start and 3:00 official end. We may adjust some times a bit here & there. Over the next week, the org crew will be taking a closer look at timing of the various events.

As long as you plan to stay for more than a couple hours, there will be plenty of time to check out all the cars AND eat. With this 2 hours, for example, the bulk of your time would be looking at all the Subies. There will be a TON!

Last year, the vendors were fed 1st. This year, we plan to include the carshow & the bulk of the volunteer crew into this group.

And in case you missed it in the main thread, Jeff, thanks again for your input, suggestions & questions on various things. Especially the whole "I'm sending money to family or friends" PayPal payment option.

for more volunteers! Especially for the lunch service crew!

If you'd like the opportunity to buy the limited edition vendor/volunteer shirts & hoodies, you must sign-up within the next 48 hours. Why? Because the shirt & hoody prepay deadline ends at 11:59pm this Thursday, August 14th!

Hey there Cliff sign me up with your crew. I'll be with my kids, but my 15 yr old daughter would also like to volunteer if she can and the same goes for my 2 boys.
