When not grilling you can be trashing?
Grilling will only be about an hour per person/per shift. Plenty of time inbetween and at day's end to do cleanup
Like they said...

If you ain't cookin', you cleanin'.
If you ain't cleanin', you cookin'.

Seriously though, we don't want anyone overworked, esp. grill cooks! That's why Kyle has the 1 hr or so shift rotation. While most peeps are happy to just keep plugging away, we want y'all to have fun while helping as well as just enjoying the awesome experience & vibe that BAM is all about!

Hmmmm.... didn't think my post above yours was unclear, but here goes anyway.

Considering that Raffle Ticket Sales is not listed among the available spots, it seems safe to assume that you'd be able to grab one of the open spots on Justin's security detail. Welcome aboard.

A reminder for you and all other volunteers, if you have not already done so:

In addition to replying in this thread, please PM your team leader to let them know directly that you’d like to join their crew.

I put that about the raffle tickets because I'd prefer it, and correct me if I'm wrong but I thought someone already added more spots to the raffle ticket sales team, maybe not but seemed like it was a smaller list when the thread was first made (could just be me). But I guess a smart *** response is better than a friendly reminder

I PM'd justin

Awesome, Chase. Thanks for the offer to help. My bad for being a bit snarky, but I knew you could take the ribbing. (As Jourdan mentioned in that other thread, "Know your target."

And yeah, you're right. I think the 1st couple days this thread was up, there may have been a couple less spots. But Jamison's all set. Plus, I'm sure Justin could definitely use the help.

And for urrybody else, we still have 11 spots open for various crews. But unfortunately, y'all are TOO LATE to order shirts and/or hoodies.

Yupp. We "lost" one to the cleanup crew - looks like there's gonna be plenty of overlap between the two groups, but we need more coverage to work the grills. Cleanup's time to shine will be after the event - and mind you, offically BAM ends at only 3:00 p.m., ie: after that, it's cleanup time.

Throughout the day, there'll be people presumably on patrol picking up loose trash and moving garbage/recycling bags, though parks people will also be stopping by hourly to take away trash iirc.

Cleaning crew would be able to tell you better about the particulars.

tl;dr We need another griller !
