Me too. From the little earphones to the headphones, I like their balance of sound.
Agreed with this too. I do sound tech on the side and while Monster cables work, they work just on par with any other brand that's out there... they just cost more because of the name.
There's one annoying thing I find about Monster cables, is they design for looks. This sometimes gets in the way of function. Example: for XLR mic cables, they have this big green MonsterTM connector head which gets in the way of putting the mic on the mic stand. This makes it impossible to pull/put the mic off/on the stand without first disconnecting it from the mic... which is a huge no-no for live sound.
As far as longevity, they last about the same as anything else.
Monster Cable is one of the biggest scams of a company ever. They make functional stuff but for some reason think they can charge way more like they were Bose just because of their name. Their stuff is no better than anything else out there at far lower prices.

Personally most of the people I've seen who buy those cars choose the FRS when they are into what popular. BRZ tens to get bought older folks maybe 30s. FRS is getting riced out like crazy.
Anyhow.
I'm not big on cans but I do like music & have pretty good ears. If I wanted a closed back headphone today it would be the beyerdynamic 770.

Honestly, there are very few times where I use/need headphones. If we're on a plane, I likely have my two kids with me so no real time to listen to headphones. I don't need them at home because speakers.
On an unrelated note, I did just pick up a 60" Visio M

I love my Ultrasone Pro 900 w/ Fiio E17 Amp/DAC combo. I was at the airport for 8 hours and they saved my life. If you want crazy bass but don't want it to muddy up the mids and highs, definitely go with the Pro 900/Fiio E17 combo.

How do you like the LCD screens? Ive been looking because our 50" Plasma is coming up on 6 years old now, and ive found most the LCD I look at have really poor response in the black/grey spectrum and the yellows are just, meh. Now given I am comparing to a plasma...
Meh, we may just go with samsungs newer 65" plasma.
