guys in blue, girls in purple.
I know its a fact that most, and I stress most, teenagers are **** head drivers, but an ignorant post like stupid teenagers (which seems to be the most used post in this thread) is a blatent stereotype (like saying asians have slanty eyes), I could say stupid elderly (meaning 70's to 80's, which seems to be left off your chart) but I don't because I know that its not one group of drivers that cause all the accidents, yes its usually teenagers, but all ages do it

Since you don't live here in California, traffic is a major problem, especially on that freeway. So they stated that to warn the driver's on the road that there could possibly be effect on traffic.

As far as the accident is concerned, glad this moron died. But feel really bad that he had to take somebody else with him. Stupid douche bags.

Bad parenting... simply put, BAD parenting.

Oh, or course, horrible driving skills and poor judgement, but above all else, HORRIBLE PARENTING!

you'll understand when you get older.

when i was 18, i didn't think anything bad would happen. i didn't think speed is that dangerous. racing friends on the freeway in the rain at 100mph with traffic and such. now, i don't even dare to get near 100. i don't even dare to drive 80mph on the freeway on clear days alone on the road at night!

I figured it out!

That car has great brakes and has ABS... To leave a 300ft skid mark, he'd HAVE to have pulled the ebrake as a last ditch effort...

Probably boiled the fluid in the run through the canyon and he then hit super sonic speed, hit the brakes, pedal to the floor... and in a last attempt, yanked the ebrake. ABS would've worked to get the car to a stop (or at least slow the car), and not have locked up like that.
