saw it this morning. it's sad, but i don't agree with giving a 18 year old a corvette to drive unless that 18 year old is very responsible.

if i was driving a corvette when i was 18, i'll either be dead, have serious injuries, killed someone, or seriously injuring someone.

Kids were from my town/sent to my sister's highschool. Kid got a corvette as a grad present, never had a fast/rwd/anycar before. Really sad that he killed someone.

Some parents just don't really have much sense... At least my parents knew I was going to total the car they gave me... And I didn't disappoint

One girl and a Corvette for a cleaner Gene Pool... still a ****ty trade off...

I wonder if that should be a right of passage... Total your first car, if you live, you are a true human.

yep.

the kid that died was a cousin of one of the guys on the corvette forum.

Just goes to show, they can profile imports and all but its just the fact that these kids that dont even have fully developed frontal lobes (part of the brain that interprets cause-and-effect, doesnt fully develop till around 21-22yo) end up an ANY car and they are going to **** up.
