I hit up Heavenly for the first time on Saturday. I was mostly on the Nevada side, but you could find some easy stashes of powder on most runs. Definitely a solid day minus the lines everywhere on the mountain.
I think I saw subie OCD walking around the gondola village Sat morning with a shorter chica...I was waiting in the mammoth line to get on the gondola and you were walking around in street clothes. Not sure if it was actually him and i was b**chy about the long line, so I didn't say anything

I went to Northstar yesterday. It wasnt too bad for a sunday. It wasnt as crowded as I thought it would have been. The lines for the lifts were no longer than 5 minutes long, granted I was in the singles line.
The conditions were pretty decent. There were patches of hard snow but nothing too icy. There was one run (i think it was called the Chute) that was just pure ice/hard snow.
Just a heads up for everyone that were thinking of going on sundays to tahoe. Traffic coming home sucks!!!!! It took us 3.5 hours to get back to Sacramento. Traffic was at a stand still for about 10 minutes and a crawl for 20. Just remember to leave on sunday really early or really late.

Prepare to be ENVIOUS/JEALOUS/ETC
So, because Tahoe gets **** for snow I've decided to take it upon myself to take a little road trip. I've traveled across America to go snowboarding and this is my favorite place in the states. The swiss and french alps are another story, wont' be making a trip back there to board for at least 3 years :\
without further ado. (did i spell ado right?)
I have 7 nights booked in Jackson Hole Wyoming. Feb. 10th - 17th
I will be staying in a condo that is roughtly 3 miles from the entrance of the resort.
Here's some pics of the condo.
Can't complain. and for more bragging rights I got 40% off the retail price, plus 100% taken off the managing and cleaning fee's. it helps to have an aunt who works for the company that rents out these condos. (plus tons of homes in the area) and by homes i mean 7 bedroom celeberty get-aways. (pm me if you want a hook up)
Now, as far as the resort goes, lets do some comparing.
Total Snowfall this year
Northstar: I couldn't find anywehre that said how much snow in inches we've
Recieved. But i believe it to be around 110 inches or so.
Jackson Hole: 210 inches at the MID mountain
292 inches at the UPPER mountain. damn.
Base Depths:
Northstar: 40"-66". bah
Jackson Hole: 68 at the base and 92 at the mid mountain. (this is what is just chillin under the p0w)
here's an idea of what its like.
