lol. I was planning to get legs back at boreal this sat/sun but.... of course when a "storm" if you wanna call it is coming in they close down. WTF.. bleh I know it would have been ****ty but... hey I was looking forward to it...

the college friday lift ticket is $15 now

 

friends went to boreal today and told me it sucked. and they are charging $30

 

That's NOT so surprising when ya consider the fact that their previous $10 rate was in effect for several years before this "big" 50% increase.

And to think way back when I first started boardin' (10 yrs ago), they only charged a measly $28 for a full day lift ticket when the season was in full swing. This year it's $44 (or $47 Holiday Rate <--- Whaddup w/ dat? Why tack on a few bux only on the Adult tix? All or none, I say. But just one type... hmmmmmm).






Where is thy bounty from the clouds? We're still waiting...

Easy to see why you're "sortuv" confused. With the season we had last yr (read: disappointing compared to the 2 seasons before it), Boreal wasn't too shabby. By no means is it my fave. (I'm not telling which one is b/c I'm selfish.) But if you're a park rat or just starting out, Boreal is for you. Every resort has its pros & cons. And they all seem to make the most of what they got... accentuating their best features & downplaying their shortcomings. So, for everyone... No, Boreal doesn't "alwas" suck.

IIRC, you're a Kirkwood fan so ya ain't too bad a judge of spots to hit the gnar gnar.

I agree but boreal is for little kids and lamers. Its like a drop of safeway select cola vs. a cola made with the finest sugar cane available IE KIRKWIZZLE.

Literally like boreal can't be compared to it. Even from an objective standpoint. It's a total joke.............

I will say Boreal sucks total *******..........but

there parking lot is AWESOME for drifting, thats about all they have going for them.


I rather use my buddies t100 and just ride random hill then go to that dump
