woohoo!

[sarcasm] Monster storm incoming!!!
After this wknd's trace snow, we've got a major weather event slated to roll in later this week! On Wed & Thur, there is a 40% chance of light accumulations. And on Fri, we can expect an even slighter (maybe 20%) chance of snow. [/sarcasm]

Just trying to do my part to pick up the spirits of all my fellow powderhounds & shredheads out there.

Cross Your Fingers!!!

Wow! I'm REALLY surprised that there were only traces of snow overnite. I guess the sub-tropical moisture was a little too warm. Did it really just fall as rain up there? Or did it miss our mtn's altogether? With the steady pitter patter I heard last nite, my hopes were way up. Someone, please, tell me that these reports I'm seeing are dead wrong.

Nevertheless I shall remain optimistic about the storm rolling thru on Thurs & Fri. I know I was sarcastic a couple days ago, but it I've been just as frustrated & disappointed as everyone else. And it now appears we have something to look forward to...

So let's keep those snow dances going, folks! :RockOn - not mine:

lest hope for the best. I think ima bite the bullet and go. My buddies cabin was just finished so we can always hang there, i just wonder if it will be worth taking my board. Solitude at kirkwood doesn't seem worth it. But i guess its better than nuthian.........

think there is any little crap spots to hike.......nothing serious or not accessible by auto (truck)
