i went to boreal on friday ( 04.07.06 ), it was my second time snowboarding and i loved it... until they had to close at about 4:30PM. oh well, i got there early and got enough runs in. i want to try out other places like kirkwood/sierra/heavenly but i love how the lift tickets on fridays are $10 at boreal. im gonna try to go to boreal every friday (doing day trips) until season closes, i wish i had gotten hooked earlier! but next season i'll for sure get a season pass to a nice ski resort... any recommendations?

hey, will you guys be up this weekend? I'm comin all the way from slo. I couldn't make it last weekend but it'd be sweet to ride wit you guys. I've meet Jeremy before, but haven't been very involved with the msg board. But i like to ride!!!
Also if you guys want, i know of a killer deal for an old model (brand new) 163 duo beta SC board w/ flow bindings for 300 and it's all unused. I saw this and want to buy it but im already riding the same board, if it was a 159 i'd swoop on the deal but i already got a duo beta 163 and im only 5"10, anyway board it sumwhere on craigslist

Bear Valley Day Trip This Friday, April 14th
So, who's down to ride Bear on Friday? I got some $39 tix I need to use. We supposed to get snow all week til Thurs afternoon. Let's do this!

2nd Call: Bear Valley Day Trip -- This Friday, April 14th
OneManArmy? bluwrxwgn? scarface? Bueller? anyone? anyone?
Nat'l Weather Svc is saying that the snow level will be around 5000-6000ft up at Bear. So we're looking at some wet snow this week.
I'd love to go back to the Kay-Dub w/ these snow levels. But since Bear is closing in ELEVEN days and I don't think I'll have any other chance to use my pre-paid lift tix($39 ea), I need to go to Bear specifically this time around.
My 2nd ticket is still up for grabs, plus I can still get a hold of more if this trip somehow blows up. My friend still hasn't said if she's still coming along or not. C'mon folks! Where the shredheads at?

Congrats again on your house, bruddah! Too bad ya may not be able to roll up this wknd. But I need to use my tix for Bear tomorrow & my ticket for Sierra next wknd. Because...
I just got an e-newsletter fr: that site I told ya about w/ all the deals at the resorts *www.slidingonthecheap.com*. They listed a buncha closing dates, and I'm a li'l disappointed like last year. So much late season snow, yet they're almost all shutting down next wknd(4/23), except for a handful like SugarBowl & Kirkwood(both 4/30), Alpine(5/21) and Squaw(Mem. Day - 5/29). There's a slim chance some of them will go maybe one more week.
Oh well, it's kinda a blessing since I may be able to get more dialed in w/ my studies now that I'm taking classes again. We've got many more seasons ahead of us!
