Me! Me! Me! *raises hand enthusiastically* I'm looking to ride for 4 dayz straight next week. Here's my plan... Thurs: Northstar = I gotta voucher I wanna use. Fri: Kirkwood, Sierra or Homewood. Sat: Kirkwood = meet up w/ your crew. Sun: still don't know, but wanna wrap up a li'l early if it's not K-wood (return traffic sux).

 

Yo, bruddah! I can only ride tomorrow. I gotta work @5am (YIKES!) on Sun. I'm still waiting to hear back fr: my buddy on what he wants to do. PM me the phone # of the house in Arnold. Actually I just realized it was well past noon already. I'm assuming your leaving soon, so I just may give ya a buzz on your cell in a bit.

 

WOW, we can't get enough of that fresh powder! Thanks for the info subie OCD. I am thinking of switching to sugar bowl now for next Sunday. I miss that place! And from what you said and looking at the forecast, I think it's going to be awesome there! We are staying in South Lake Tahoe on that Saturday night, so that's why we originally were going to just hit Heavenly to save time. But I am thinking of changing plans now.......have to check in with the others first.

I think my gf and I will be heading up to So. Lake Tahoe next Friday, and ride Heavenly on Saturday (then driving back Sat. evening). So how crappy is the drive (traffic-wise) going to be on a Friday evening ~8pm (leaving from Benicia)?

Aww... Traffic after 7 shouldn't be too bad if it's just typical Friday stuff & no major delays due to accidents, closures, etc. I find it ridiculous when folks leave btwn like 3 and 7 fr down here in San Jose. A few years back a buddy took off about 4:30-5:00. I left sometime after 7. He beat me to South Lake by maybe a half hour.

Have fun up there next week. I'm still trying to find someone daring enuff to brave the pow tomorrow.

 

hey Krinkov sorry about last weekend.. my parents ended up going w/o letting me know until last minute.. but I go up pretty much every weekend so let me know beore the season ends.

Sugar bowl was amazing, it was snowing off and on all day, so the powder was plentiful! My first few runs were almost waist deep in the powder, it was great. Hope everyone else had fun.

 

nice weekend of boarding! snow was great!

anyway, my GF can't go this weekend which means ill be going up solo.

my family has a cabin in so. lake a few blocks from heavenly and the casinos.
my friends went to mexico for the week so they wont be rollin up either... which means I need some boardin homeys this weekend.

Ill be going to Heavenly or Kirkwood (more than likely kirkwood) for the 2 days so let me know early if you want to cruise. Im leaving late friday night (@ 12-1 AM) or early saturday morning. the cabin is pretty sick..


anyway, if u want a ride up and a place to stay and some good boardin let me know. no n00b boarders though !!!

 

Dude im in!!!! My gf is doing her own thing too. I will be rolling with a homey most likely but if not im comin out for sure. I will be riding heavenly both days. So it sounds like a great time! So its cool? You want some throw down for the cabin? Im down to leave late night friday. No traffic!!! 100% man let me know. IM SOOOOOOOO DOWN. Maybe we can pick a meeting place and roll out.

It's already in the works. Fr posts before this past wknd: me, Krinkov & chocobo are tentatively hitting up the Wood on Sat.


Like I posted last week, I'm looking to ride 3 (maybe 4) straight days. Thurs: Northstar, Fri: undecided, Sat: Kirkwood, and Sun: undecided. Since I'm doing this solo, too, it'd be schweet to meet up w/ some folks for one or two days! Once we figure out who's going & whatnot, I'll shoot my cell # via PM.
