I'm going up to Sierra tomorrow morning for a day trip.

Rolling up there in my buddies Volvo C70 XC (inline 5cyl. AWD turbo)

I might bring my conversion up there too if he decides he wants to crash at a friends house in the valley on the way back. If thats the case then I'll get to play in the snow with my subie. I gotta be back Wednesday night regardless cause I have school early on Thursday. Anyone else heading up to Sierra tomorrow?

Yep, the Wood is on for us on Saturday We are now scratching the Sugar Bowl idea on Sunday for logistical reasons Sounds like many of you will be hanging in the S. Lake Tahoe area. So now going back to our original plan of Heavenly on Sunday. Woot! Hope to see as many of you at either the Wood or Heavenly or both this weekend.

Yo, li'l Jefe! There should be tons o' snow for ya! Looks like it'll be on the heavy side. After smashing down the boarder-X course, try the big rocks & trees along the El Dorado chair(slow lift on the backside). It's not a very long thru there, but it's a blast when the coverage is like it is this week. I'm probably gonna be hitting up Sierra on Friday! Have fun & be safe! Btw, are you rolling up w/ our homey Judd Bales?

So this weekend it looks like Kirkwood is definite for Sat. We're very likely to be blessed w/ more snow on Friday nite, too!

I'm definite for Sat w/ y'all. I'm still undecided for Sun since I work @6AM on Mon, plus it'll be my 4th straight day of riding. If I do board though, I may take advantage of this deal at Alpine. "Alpine Meadows will sell $20 lift tickets at the resort this day". If I do this, I'm gonna wrap up my final day of fun by 2:30 to get a jump ahead of the return traffic.

I'll be shooting my cell # via PM to the folks for Sat's crew.

Can't resist snow in April...

Anybody interested in joining these folks in Kirkwood on Saturday for a one day run? I'm happy to drive if I can get two or three passengers to share the gas costs. I usually leave at 5am from Burlingame, so we could meet somewhere near there or San Mateo. I'm usually back in the bay area by 8pm. I've got a ski rack and snow-rated tires.
