i got stuck in the front of that storm on 80, nice 7hr trip back to san jose. It was starting to dump around 1pm, got in some great runs late day at northstar (6"+ had fell at the summit already), but yeah, really wish I had a room for the night and could have went back for friday

today was nuts. i can't wait for it to keep snowing.

I wish I was up there this weekend, i left right as the snow was starting to fall. I was at Heavenly mon-wed. Monday was super windy but the other days were nice. Overall not alot of snow though and Heavenly has a very very small park setup right now, just two different rail/box lines and no jumps. I had fun on the normal runs though and hitting random drops, there was a nice kicker someone built above a 10 foot drop or so that was fun to hit.

 

anyone heading up there this weekend?

 

same with sierra, their park consists of 2 rails and a box. small small rails. right before lunch my brother toked up and wanted to go hit rails (first time high on a snowboard LOL)
anyways, he went to hit the rail, landed face ****ing first, jaw into the rail. he stopped after that.

lotta drops cause its so bare. there's a lot of rocks that have snow on top and then below creating a drop, where normally the whole thing would be covered.

very good day though.

 

gonna be back at K-wood tmr with my brother, keep an eye out for me, would be great to hook up with more I-club peeps! I'll be wearing this again with a brown helmet, Lowball? Boardaholic? Scarface? See you there!

Got the week off and a big storm rolling in. Hopeing to get like 3 days in this week maybe. Then the weekend on a seperate trip...not sure though. Might go to so cal to visit the brother in law.

My brother brought my new bindings down, got my tires...now if I just didn't have this spare tire attached to me I'd be good to go. Here's to another year where I don't hit my groove til it's over...haaa.

I went thurs/friday with jeff. One day blown out. The other was PACKED. But hey..it was the snow. Got the first one out of the way so should be good from here on out. I was scared out of my mind...first day without my terminator knee brace on. Had a week little sock style on. It held though. Only hurt on one little jump. GNARLY wind ripples everywhere. people. HUGE lines...it was like disney land.

But I had a blast with Jeff. Had fun with the family. Stoked to be up there. The wind was crazy to see.


Drove home. Got home at 9. Took a deuce. Jumped in my ladies car and drove strait to Los Osos. Long day.

Got my season pass so I'll be going up any chance I get.

 

I'll be there this Sunday the 7th with my wife...so let me know...

 

going to sierra on the 5th. using Lance's old snowboard. planned to go on the 4th, but the weather says its snow/rain so move back one day. and going to reno on the 4th. see you guys there on the 5th

 

planning on going to Kirkwood or Homewood this weekend. Look out for a Gray 07 Wagon w/gold wheels. see you guys there
