(calling them sick in for school while my mom's in NJ for a day )

Good stuff, bro. I was at Dodge Ridge yesterday. I was roastin' by lunchtime, although it was a bit cloudier as compared to all the sun you got today. Pretty sore right now since I cased it big time on their 20-step stairs/rail/ledge set-up. Yikes!

 

that spine is sorta weird

every time i go up and hit it, i expect to see like 8 inches of snow before it drops in. and every time it just instantly drops in and freaks me out. though it is a lot of fun to tail and nose stall on it

 

how is dodge ridge? my friend go theres a lot.. he lives in turlock though a little closer for him

 

just came back from sierra today.


melting slush rocks. i dont mind fallin on that at all.

spotted a blue bugeye wagon w/ a nice sounding exhaust.... waved a V at you as you drove by.... i was walking to my car.

spotted several other subies there as well....

however there was a subie w/ altezzas in the rear...

i'm so confused.....

(the short stuff lift, where all the Big jumps are)

they usually close it down when it gets slushy b/c you can't get enough speed to clear them.

on a 2nd note, would it be worth going up tomorrow and tuesday?

 

nopes.... the runs were all open to my knowledge.

and if its any warmer today... and if it doesn't snow anytime soon... its pointless going. the ground is starting to show up now. sooo much slush.. lots of fun... but snow melting too fast....

kirkwood was nice on saturday.... base is stil the best there. and they groom every hour...it didnt start getting slushy till after 2. shade sucked tho...i hit a horrible patch of ice on the side.
