Wow wow wee wa!!! Damn... we've been having some serious dumpage.

How bad have the winds been up there? I chickened out for Fri/Sat since the Nat'l Weather Svc. projected gusts of 100+mph! Yikes!

I'm sure folks who made it out this wknd had a blast regardless. Though I have been reading that traffic was bloody murderous at times during the storm.

Looks like I'm gonna man up & ride on Wed & Thur. Hooray! Powder! with calmer winds

 

just got back home yesterday. spent 9 hours in traffic yesterday tryin to get home. many points was 0 visibility. horrendous traffic. should be very nice when it calms down.

 

Same Here! BUT about 5 hrs into it, we had a snowball fight with another suby driver in traffic. It was fun! ended up getting home about 11:30pm but left about 12:00pm

 

i went on friday at sierra... great powder.. then I went to go on sunday and today but it is storming way too hard!!

 

went to northstar on sunday! subys everywhere! good snow! horrendous traffic 11 hrs to get back! left at 3pm. i didnt get home til 2am.

 

lol.

i was wanting to go to northstar again. but said screw it... still tired from saturday's fun at the snow.

 

we left at 10am from super8 got home a little after 1230 at night

 

I'll be up in the snow sunday at bear.

 

Whaddup, Ray!?! Any news on da big trip? Last wknd in March(Fri, Mar30-Sun, Apr01)?

I'm gonna get my shred on tomorrow & Thur. Probably Squaw or Alpine. Leaving in an hr or so!!!

but holy **** today was ****ing beautiful. snowed all last night about 15 inches and today it was bright and sunny

*edit* maybe becuase i drove up in the AM on monday morning. i hit snow, but was doing an easy 30 - 40 mph from placerville on. took me 3.5 hours to get to sierra from petaluma. normally takes me 3 or 2.45

 

hooray for new snow, but i hear traffic is horrible, have fun getting up there.

I went to Sierra on Sunday. The snow was perhaps the best I have boarded on in California =) From SF, it took me about 3.25 hrs to get there and only 3 hrs to get back. No traffic. I left Sierra around 3, not knowing there was a snow storm, and I got back to SF alittle before 6. I guess I got lucky not only with the resort choice but with the weather, snow, and traffic. Ignorance is bliss..haha

I am planning on going to Sugar Bowl on Sunday. Anyone going there that day? I guess I better not check the weather..LOL
