I made it up to Kirkwood yesterday for the opening day of chair 6. I had a great day on the slopes. Surprisingly good snow at the top and there were even some freshies available. Almost no one up there. All lifts were walk ons pretty much all day.

 

Right on, I was there too with subi4justin. And a few other homies, was fun. I hit a few rocks in the middle of the groomer on chair 6, but if you stayed to the sides it was good. Chair 11 was allot of fun, was nice seeing some normally groomed runs ungroomed, had allot of fun doing some hero bump skiing.

Today we hit heavenly for a few hours and then headed home via 88 and hit a few laps at Kirkwood. The place was empty and had the place to ourselves. Overall a badass weekend.

 

last year i vowed to go snowboarding this year! but alas, still struggling. next year for sure!

this year i want to at least drive up to the snow for a weekend. do some photography, maybe go down a few hills, see some nice views.

I was at Kirkwood too on Saturday with Steve and Subi4Justin. I was on skis but after riding them twice, Im selling them. Love riding my board way much more.

I was there for a few days at N*... some good snow.. decent features at the park for it being the beginning of the season essentially. Groomed runs were perfect.. the not so groomed runs had some spotting but luckily I didnt scuff up my board... I went out for a bit of tree skiing on my skis later that trip and it was actually great! I have some pictures of what it looks like up there which ill post soon!

 

Yoooo if anyone wants to ride ever PM me. I got a pass for Squaw, Alpine, and Sierra. Tryin to get a group rollin this season....

 

Either Coop goes into that funky position all the time or I was there when you snapped that pic. I remember someone telling him he can't hide or something along those lines. I wish I would have known some fellow I-clubbers were up there. I did a day trip solo, the drive home was brutal. Getting old!

 

I'll be at squaw/alpine this weekend and basically through the new year. Not sure how the conditions will be but worst comes to worst ill break out my **** board and find some mud rides haha

 

Supposed to get some snow near my house Thursday. I'll let you guys know how much I get.

just hit up sierra tahoe and it was decent, snow was coming down early morning while boarding. called it an early day and headed to our hotel infront of the main gondola of heavenly. hopefully still decent snow tomorrow when we head up.
