I picked one up as well instead of the Mountain Collective. Along with 4 free passes (Sierra, homewood, bear, china peak) you get free entrance to a festival of your choice which also includes free passes. And the pass also includes all kinds of free tunes and waxes, plus various discounts on lift tickets at pretty much every resort in CA (mammoth included, this was my tipping point).

I figure the bear valley pass and discounts is worth it alone for the trip with the subabrew crew.

Looks like a few of y'all be me to the punch on posting the headsup on the Snowbomb Platinum Pass. A new thread popped up abt it earlier yesterday, too.

Steve actually texted me about it the other day. As he informed me, the deadline for the hookup price of $49.99 is Sunday, Sept 1st!

Here's the link for more info on this steal of a deal: The SnowBomb Platinum Pass » SnowBomb

Over the 17 or 18 years I've been riding, I've picked one up almost every season. I still refer to it as the Tahoe Card since that's what it was called in the first dozen years or so.

I used to always wait to pick it up at the expo in November since it would be priced back down to the early pricing of late summer. I think after the initial deadline, the cost jumps up 10 or 20 bux. Ever since this killer deal has included complimentary basic entrance to the expo, I always got during this early pricing period. As Steve mentioned, the expo offers a few FREE lift tix as well. So for $50, you can score up to 7 of them! Even if you don't use the China Peak tix, the 5 others are still an awesome deal!

I might even hit up china peak via mammoth this season, I wonder how the road conditions and distance looks like driving from china peak to mammoth.

I finally got all my referrals in check. Talked to a rep the other day. She's going to work it out with my doctor hopefully in the next week. I'll meet her and she'll get my measurements and I'll pick out which one I want.

I think I'm going to try and get the Ossur CTi Custom Pro Sport. Probably just in Matt charcoal or black.

Start PT back up next friday for my back and my ankle. I've got the balance board going and a pillow type deal to stand on for ankle support strength.

Figure I got 6 weeks to make some massive movement to be ready to roll.

Sooo how about the platinum pass on snowbomb.com

Are they worth it? I am thinking about doing it? $150 for atleast 4 lift tickets and a bunch of other perks.

We will be taking the train up to AT&T park. Boozing it for a day. I will keep on the lookout for familiar faces and Subaru apparel.
