Good to hear that the ankle wasnt fractured. We gotta get another day or two in before the end of the season. I went to kirkwood thurs for some powder on the powder skis, it was pretty tough but fun. Friday was mt rose with a friend that lives in reno and it sucked it stayed cold amd didnt loosen up till 2 ish. That plus the steepness = scurrry

via Imgflip Meme GeneratorMy ankle is actually in worse shape now than it was when I was riding. It's friggin killing me. I'm gonna try to get some P.T. soon but I have some personal issue that are gonna eat up this week. Road tripping to LA on thursday.
But lord willing I can get a big enough crew that we can knock out the house on the 6/7 and I'll at least be able to spend Sunday up at Bear closing weekend. I need to buy my pass and pick up my beer mug anyways.

Yeah Jordan was in the same boat. He was up at Heavenly this weekend with and old friend of ours. Best part of the day was said friend puking in the trees. Rookie. LOL!

Anyone wanna join me for $12 Tuesday at Bear tomorrow? Driving up my nephew's CR-V, and we got room for one more head.
Tremendous $12 Tuesdays! Lift Tix & other special deals for ONLY 12 bux!

But yeah. We'll probably do that. Depends on how many people are there.
I'll probably start taking a load of boxes every day of the week once we get the all clear from the contractors. Cut down the load for one day hopefully. Try to leave just big stuff and clean up. Gotta order the dumpster and all that jazz.
I'm leaving town for a couple days this week but I should be home most of the weekend to bust *** on the basement, garage and work shed.
Gotta see if Jeff will sell me that tv stand he built. I want.

You hear the family met him on the street 14 years ago... he was homeless. Heavy month for me. Been odd.

Bah! 'Tis looking like my nephew may be bailing on me for tmrw's shred sesh. While I don't mind rolling solo, I'd prefer some company on the drive. Anyone out there able to play hookey? Lift tix are only 12 buckaroos tmrw!

You know I just need a excuse to play hookey, but Im starting to get on my bosses **** list lol. Id be in for a trip this weekend though fri-sat. Definitely looking for some ride share buddies if I hit the mtn this weekend.
But if you or anyone is looking for Tahoe rideshare resources, here are my suggestions:
Join SnowPals (the Yahoo group I've been a member of for even longer than I have been a part of i-club). It's how I connected w/ Nikolay & Ryan, then Petr for those two trips me & you did. Rideshares are only a part of what the Yahoo group is used for. They have "mixers" every so often at the different Sports Basement stores or other ski & board shops. They've even hosted them at bars! They typically have a raffle giveaway. I've scored a few lift tix over the years!
Another good resource is Zimride. And you can always check out the craigslist rideshare section. In this link, I put "tahoe" in the search field.
Btw, Ryan from our trip to Northstar a couple months back just emailed that he has a Skibus voucher to Heavenly this Fri that he unfortunately won't be able to use. Lemme know, and I can put y'all in touch.
