Ya boarding is fairly easy to pick up. Just look for bindings that are compatible with the EST system. Burton aren't the only ones with EST bindings anymore, other manufactures have started including the EST disc.
A few from Sierra. I love my hat. Makes me easy to spot lol

Went to Kirk this past Sat with the gf & a homie... cloudy out and not too cold. Took 3-4 runs, then it snowed for the rest of the day! So stoked to snag some freshies despite showing up in the morning with hardly any coverage. Good 4-6" fell while we were there.
Didn't chance the new board though, sticking with my old deck till we get a deeper base.

On my way in that morning the roads were dry and clear. Different story on the way out since it was snowing the whole time. I made due with 6yr old all season tires and had to go about 25-30mph for a good half hour after leaving the resort around 6pm. I def wish I had snow tires last sat.

I bought my set of 970as last season and from the chain control all the way to the resort it was like a sled ride. No fun at all. 25mph and NO brakes just pure engine braking and 2nd gear the whole way sometimes 1st. Didnt even have a good time cause it was snowing pretty heavily and i still had to drive home to santa cruz in the dark! Made it with no problems. Lost traction a bunch of times.
Conti Dws hands down the best all season tire in the snow so far for me......
