Inbox full... Ill keep it brief here. Hope I didn't come off as assuming any and all could come along. But, if its a "the more the merrier" type of situation then I would love to join. Most likely would be coming up Friday night and leaving Sunday, unless the snow is too good to pass up then ill play it by ear. Whereabouts is your place?

I'm brewing the honey Vienna IPA tonight with a buddy, decided to up the hops and gravity because my boy wanted to do a IPA not a APA. Should be kegged and carbed by next weekend.

So what the deal with lodging? I know y'all got a cabin but don't know how much room you guys got. What's the best lodging around there if there no room?

There should be enough space.

That beer sounds delicious.

Now you're speaking my language!

There's room.

Figure...
My brother always crabs the one room.
The other room has 4 beds. Justin. Me. You. Todd.
Cliff likes the upstair couch.
Lil Jeff likes the downstairs couch.

If there's more we'll figure it out. Worst case I share the bed with my brother and that frees up a spot in the 4 room. There's room for 2 on the upstairs couch and I think there's a couple foam away from homes. I grabbed one once and crashed out in the downstairs closet. MONEY!

We've had 16 people scattered around that place. But if you want lodging I think there's rentals down the hill. Bear Valley has killer deals right now up at the lodge... ski and ride deals for like $99. Good luck getting anything anywhere near Murphy's though. St. Patty's goes OFF down there.

Any chance you or Dawn work near Hertel? We need a couple bricks of wax and I forgot to order one.

Place is up the hill behind B of A.

We should have space. It's not a huge crazy place but we make due. We have a great crew of guys that have been going up there for years. Most of the time everyone has something soft to crash on. We've had a few years with big groups. We make due.

Lord willing we'll get some powder and I'll be able to get out to the places I like to ride. We have a couple guys that are quicker than most but we all stay pretty close to each other. We've had a few guys up there on the lower end of ability but as long as you can get from A to B we wait. Drink beer and shoot the ****.

Side note.

Bear Valley got 6 inches so far this week. Suppose to be chance of snow every day this week until Sat.

So at the very least we'll get some snow to cover up some of the rocks that are starting to show up. Build the base back up.

Lets all agree to do our snow dances and maybe it'll stay like this for the next couple weeks and we'll see a couple feet between now and the trip.

Car wise...

We'll have to figure out car pool stuff on the fly. I should be up there before anyone else so entry to the bad should be no big deal.

We've got space for 2 cars in the drive way. There's a parking lot around the way that can take like 20 so we're good. And there's like 4 slots directly across the street. If we get snow we'll have to shovel but we can usually clear out a couple spaces in like 20 minutes flip flopping labor and beer time.

Yea I did 4 days this weekend. N* thurs (was horrible) then 3 days in a row at mt rose. I really digged that place, even on the two spring days it was so high elevation the snow stayed good all day. Then I woke up Sunday morning to the sound of raindrops. Right about 7k feet on the way it it turned to big ole fat flakes, and the trees were starting to hold snow on the branches. Was a great day, it snowed all day long and the last hour the sky cleared up and the sun came through.

With what it says on opensnow.com it looks like the next two weeks will be great. I'm juiced.

Ray, you need to get outta my head, yo! I was thinking of scooping up some Hertel wax, too. I think I'm down to a bar & a half. If one of y'all aren't able to swing by there soon, I let y'all know if I may be down that way next week to grab some for myself & for the cabin's supply.

Man, I'm getting stoked for this trip! Definitely shaping up. Mother Nature is doing her part this week. Steve is brewing up some suds.

Anyone down to play hookey @ The Wood tomorrow? They only ran some of the lifts today, so the backside & upper mtn should have plenty of fresh tracks in the morning! Tomorrow's forecast is calling for decreased winds & only light snow accumulations.

I've already shot a text out to a few of y'all Tahoe Local Pass regulars.

Yesir!

Man I'm getting pumped. I gotta go pick up an ankle brace or something this week. I was standing in line to order my lunch and my ankle buckled. Almost fell on my ***. I'm still not sure I didn't break or tear something. I'll find out in a couple weeks. LOL!

Things are shaping up.

Looks like Todd is probably gonna come up Friday night and ride Sat. Then head out to go 4x4 with his buddy.

So Sat we should have 8 riding. And Sunday we'll have 7.

So far it looks like most folks are heading out at different times on friday. I've got Friday/Sat/Sun/Mon off so I'm heading on Thursday night on the late tip after I tuck my daughter in or at least eat dinner and hang out with her.

Gonna bust hump tonight on the house. Try to make a big enough dent that the wife forgets I'll be gone for 4 days. LOL!

Anyone need anything?

I've got 2 brand new pairs of boots. I've got extra pants and extra boards.

Food wise... I'll probably stop by and pick up meat for sat night. If I do that, it'll probably be my portion of the food bill for the weekend. LOL! Not gonna be cheap. I'm gonna have my brother pick up a couple cases of beer. I figure between the 5 gallons from Steve if we all take care of a case we'll be set.

I think we're down on water up there so if you think about it... grab a case of water. I think we only have a half case left and with our group we'll kill a case every day easy.

So if I do the meat... skirt steak and sausage ok by you guys or you want me to grab some chicken too?
