Was @ Heavenly this past Saturday but it was crowded AF because of a power outage so most lifts were closed, lift lines longer than I ever could have imagined. Probably the last time I ever go there during a snow storm weekend. Obviously they can't handle running the mountain with any backup generators/power etc..
Btw, anyone planning to ditch watching the superbowl and go ride??

I was in Meyers on Sunday, went to leave and saw how bad 50 was... straight said **** that and went back to the cabin we rented and crashed Sunday night. Left yesterday morning 11am and got back in 3.5hrs.

There's an end in site. If what I'm seeing on out yonder in the ocean is right and this pressure drops we'll get hit with a decent string of storm starting NEXT weekend.
I decided to stay home this weekend. Work on the house and what not. Maybe wash my car for the first time in 4 months.
But the following weekend I'm looking at putting 2-3 days in.
Weather.com has some rain coming in on the 17th and clouds after that... but I think they're wrong.
I think we'll get 8-12 inches of snow on Wed. 1-3 more on Thursday. Clouds for the next 1-2 days. Then a little more snow. After that probably some more sun. I'm thinking we'll get some warm but very very wet systems rolling in around the beginning of March and we'll have a big snow March/April.
This 2 weeks sun spell we're getting sucks. Right now we're way behind the snow pace that everyone was expecting... like Bear is on track for 300-350. I was hoping for 500 plus.

Looks like a hell of a time. I highly doubt my situation will be much different next year but I'll make that run in 2 years with you guys.
I am doing a blaster run with my dad and my brother though. We're flying in to CO. Hit the Coors brewery. Trying to decide if we'll do 2 days at Loveland and 1 in Utah or 1 at Loveland and 2 in Utah.
Leaning towards 1 day at Loveland if we can get Ridge Cat tickets. Then 2 days at Powder Mountain in Utah with 1 day of a private tour for at least a half day. The resort is freaking MASSIVE. One of the largest resorts in the country. And the elevation is closer to what I'm used to so I think we'll get more riding in.
The ridge cat at loveland is over 13k feet. I figure one of those runs. 1 or 2 on the bowl and then 2-4 off in the trees and deeps and I'll be freaking done.
But in Utah I should be able to smash open to close.
Going up this weekend if any of you terds want to meet up.
