Ug :/ icy once again for my 2nd day this season (yesterday). BV was pretty much a frozen brick all day long, moguled out and sun never came thru. Of course Sat & today both got freshies from the recent storm. Need a pow day redemption over here!! LOL
Next day up will be Heavenly on the 29th so hoping for better results.

Very true, I was a lil hesitant due to weather reports leading up to that day but kept seeing that there'd still be overnight snowfall. Seeing how starting today I have to work 10 days in a row I took my chances on Sunday and got shafted lol.
Regardless of weather I'll be @ Heavenly the 29th since we snagged a cabin in Meyers for 4 days for my bday, got 5 heads riding that day so far.

I was planning on going up to Kirkwood on Sunday but Saturday decided to not go. Was watching the weather and was hearing about a mix of rain and snow at the base and snow above 8500f, it was coming down during the day but everyone was saying it was heavy wet snow. The temps on Saturday hit 38° and then the overnight lows dipped down to 25°, perfect recipe to firm up and freeze all the snow. Had it stayed above freezing all night, Sunday wouldn't have been to bad, just heavy wet snow.
Wish I brought my other board which can catch a better edge on harder snow but oh well, next week!

Sunday at Kirkwood was the worst I've seen it in a long time. Ended up ****ing up my bad shoulder twice landing on what felt like cement. The backside was horrible too. Ended up going home early.

I bailed this weekend. Only regret I have is Monday woulda been good. LOL!
But I've got to pick my battles this year. Wife is picking up a TON of on-call shifts to help out and that means I have to man up and stay home when needed to watch the kiddies.
Had a good weekend anyways. Friday night killer raggae show. Sat my buddy's kid's first bday party. Sunday chilling with the fam. Monday home just me and both kids.
I'm behind where I wanted to be at this point but I'm still at 5 days and pretty much all of them were POW days. So that's good.
I think I can still hit 15 plus this year but it'll be tricky. Need to find the days and need to spend as little money as possible. Season pass and free place to stay are the only reason I can go at all this year.
