N* was so hot yesterday... rocked a tshirt all day but paid the price with nice sunburn sleeves lol... left the damn sunscreen back in the car. Despite being well above normal temp the runs were still groomed and in good shape, even took my new deck out and didn't come back with any damage. So sore today though, got my arm twisted pretty good wiping out after coming off the bs wall in the half pipe. Overall sick day though, couple gopros out so I can toss a lil video together when I get a chance.
cuz we're less than 2 weeks away from the annual trip to Arnold/Bear Valley!
I know this has been another down year for snowfall totals, but the current forecast calls for the possibility of a decent set of storms to close out the month.
I still will NOT get my hopes up. Remember, hope & optimism fuels the blocking ridge.

But as always, I'm stoked to hang out & shred with the crew!

Was at Kwood yesterday and it was still good. Perfect spring conditions, the whole mtn was riding well.
Although near the base some areas are starting to get bare and dirt showing. Was getting real sloppy after 12, we had to do a little pond skimming in some spots lol
If we dont get any more storms soon, I dont see most of these resorts staying open past the end of the month.

Was crazy to see how much snow melted away at Kwood in two weeks
From today's The Tahoe Daily Snow forecast discussion...
"We lost Sierra at Tahoe today which makes 6 out of 16 resorts now calling it quits for the season and looking forward to next season..."
Oh noes!
I was hoping to use my Snowbomb voucher at Sierra this Thur or next Tue or Wed depending on the possibility of a bit of fresh snow in the 10-day forecast.
So what other 5 resorts have closed already?!?

Damn. I guess that leaves kirkwood only now. I was planning on going up once more before end of season. I guess i might need to wait until the next storm passes to buy another ticket. I was at kwood on saturday and the conditions were nice for how warm it was. The wall was pretty good no ice just some rocks here and there.
