Oh and glad you got a pair of days in. How many so far? I'm still sitting on ONLY 3. But stoked that the storm door's re-opening by Wed next week!

Nice! Sounds like you fellas made the most of your wknd!

Can't wait for our annual. We gotta do St. Paddy's Day! So bummed I missed last year. Shame on me.
Don't feel too bad. I'm only at 3 right now too. Been working on the house. Jordan is at 7 or 8 I think.

it was hard as a rock. A couple inches of snow came in over night and during the day but it was snow on top of a brick of ice.

The sun wasn't out long enough to loosen anything up. No wind so that was good. But yeah... groomer racing type of day.

And the 3 of us were having ummm... balance issues first thing when we got there so it was a slow start.

St. Patty's day is the front runner for a date right now.

I went to kwood yesterday and as we were rolling up there it started snowing real good. I was thinking that they might be getting more snow than they anticipated. I get there and was with a bunch of folks who had to rent gear so I just hopped on cornice and caught one of the first several chairs and it was 6+" of fresh fallen snow that was butter smooth a d effin amazing even on the groomers it was just all new snow from that quick little dumping they got that morning. I went to go try and link up with my buddies and by the next chair all the new snow was plowed through and it was soo ****in icy. Very sketchy conditions with all the tracked out new snow and ice layers. I was riding my park skis and they couldn't hold a edge very well, even slipped out from under me a few times on edge. I need some nice fattys badly. It stayed real cold all day but around 2 the conditions got a little better. Still had a blast though.

Yeah we didn't get 6 plus. I wish. It seemed like the clouds were pushing north of us so they were all probably hitting you guys. LOL!

I found a few runs that not to many people get to that still had a nice layer of untouched on them. Was able to blast through that pretty good a few runs until it got chewed up. Once the fresh was moved it was nuthin but brick.

Nearly got taken out by a 14 year old kid. I sware... if the kid was older I would have broke his nose.

Saturday was bad at Bear. Saw around 5 people getting "sledded" down the hill ending their day and at the end of the day they called in a life flight for someone.

Yea there was some serious balance issues Sunday. Guess that comes when you wake up still drunk.

Looks like I went 1 day too early. I was there on Saturday there wasn't much fresh snow around, especially at the very top. I'm getting a new board this week so I can't wait to go again, but I'm going to wait for a nice powder day so I can attempt more jumps.

Looks like all my regular shred bros can't come out & play tomorrow, so I've got 3 open seats in my wagon for my solo (so far) day trip.

I've got Alpine Meadows & Northstar in my crosshairs. If you're not a passholder to either spot, both places will be $50 via a couple different deals. I've got a Shell 2-for-1 for Alpine, and Sierra Avalanche Center has an online pre-purchase (by midnite).

Any takers? Especially you Tahoe Super & EPIC passholders!

I didn't end up hitting the slopes today. I did a li'l Uncle Day Care for a few hours. But I did shred the asphalt on my freebord for a couple hours.

So I'm trying to line up a day trip to N* on Thurs. Any Tahoe Local or Epic passholders wanna ride Shaun & Torstein's mtn?
