We need to rent a BIG *** cabin. Like 15-20 sleeper. Those ones that go for like $500 a night. Get mad heads up there and have fun.

I'm gonna plan something like that with some of my friends but it'd be a fun i-club trip.

I have been snowboarding for about 3 years this will be year 4. I still havent figured out carving very well yet. I kinda can but not well enough that i feel I am great about it. When i do I feel like the board is gonna come out from behind me and that will be end of story.

But after a few beers who is even watching me, (i have the same mentaility when dancing with the wife)

There's a lot of people at this level.

I think this is 16 years for me. I stay the hell away from rails too but for a whole nother reason... haaaaa.

Word... I'd rather go smashing my way into a ridiculous tree line and find myself jumping off natural hits then bust my *** on a metal rail and look like a douche in front of 40 groms walking around in the park.

This is the year of the free pass for me. I already have 3 unlimited Kirkwood passed and 1 Bear Valley/Sierra Summit/ Dodge Ridge pass that I got at the ski show at Fort Mason last weekend. My boss is likely getting me a Snowbomb card for my B-day next week so that's 1 more Sugarwood pass. Plus I plan to go to Mel Cotton's sale this weekend and get another Sugarwood pass. That's 6 lift tickets already. Plus gas is "cheap". I foresee at least a dozen Tahoe trips this season if the weather cooperates.

Yea I stay away from anything park. Tree runs are way more enjoyable.

Carving is just something that has to come to you. When I first started I could only turn toe side. Never on the heels. It just took time and a whole lot of wrecks. Big massive ones with snow flying everywhere. I always managed to come out unhurt but I was probably just lucky. I've been going about 5-7 years, I don't really remember exactly, and I'm still not an expert. Riding with OneMan and Boardaholic and Ipoeztu made me realize I still got a long way to go. But they are forcing me to step it up.

+1 also a newbie, just started snowboarding last december hahaha
i learned pretty fast coz i skateboard, but still need work with carving, jumps, and grinding. riding boxes are easier than griding rails

i'm going snowboarding this winter again, coz it's definitely enjoyable, but most likely after finals......can't wait

Round up the wagons and lets do it. I am sure my wife would wanna go. might have to go sneak out in the woods for about 15 mins though. I got an 8 person snowboard rack so I can handle hella boards.

I think I am gonna spring for a Boreal season pass. I have the money now and its so much easier than coming up with the money on a whim. Plus then all i have to do is worry abotu gas and if i bring friends split that up 4 ways and its like $25. That I can come up with once a week.

I just dont go to the othe rplaces enoguh for me to get a season pass there. Plus if you got a pass to boreal, since its the cheapest you can usually scrounge up a few people to tag along.

I've always wanted to stay at this house in South Lake. When I used to set up my annual trip in Feb, I could never get folks to commit so this spot would always be unavailable by the time they said "I'm in!" I got shafted one too many times booking places only to have my friends, cousins, etc. back out. And they wondered why I never asked them again.

It's got an indoor hot tub! It's a few blocks away fr: the casinos & McP's! And although the max. occupancy says 8, the 'Bed Configuration' listed seems to fit 11 (w/ 2 couples sharing the Kg & Qn).

I've used this agency before once or twice some years ago for other properties. I remember they had a really good deal on discounted lift tix, too!

Seems like the only up-on-Fri-back-on-Sun trips I do now are the SubaBrew trips! Thanks again, Ray!

that house looks awesome

a big or whatever size i-club trip would be sweet. As soon as the snow comes down and there is enough stuff on the ground i am going to be up there all the time. I bought a season pass to Northstar/Sierra (double whammy) so i can basically go on any day

I am super psyched for this season - its going to be the first time this car sees the snow in my possesion

as for boards. I have an idea that I'm trying to get contacts lined up on that might solve this problem.
