You will be across a mountain range from each other, at opposite ends of the same stage.

Crew B has to drive the stage, A just sits at the entrance.

The rally itself should be pretty fun- with two passes in each direction there won't be a lot of down time, cars will run on 2 minute intervals which makes it a lot easier on the control crews.
Dress for winter though its going to be COLD

Yes, It will be very cold, especially once the sun sets (about 4 or 5pm).

Even though its not expected to snow, I'd recommend everyone to dress like there is going to be snow. In fact, the only thing preventing it from snowing will be the lack of precipitation. Its been freaking cold up here in Reno all week, and up near the stages it's only colder and windier.

Can't wait till this weekend. I worked control A last year, and it was a pretty damn good viewing spot, especially when it was the finish.

Hey Pete, if you have the route in google .kml format, or MS Streets and maps/mappoint, could you send it to me?

Go back out and drive it Sunday ... and use the info in the link below as your excuse. That's what I'm thinking of doing.

Wow I had NEVER heard of that, but I just checked with the place I'm staying at and they do card those they think look under the age of 21 !!

John, you've probably already done this, but have you asked the person you're co-driving with? The other person to contact would be Denise. I'll PM you her email address. I don't think I can help you because I'm not staying at Circus Circus.

I can't remember what group I'm in I'll check it when I get home and post it up. Jane, if you could work it so we're all in the same group, kick ***! Either way it should be a blast.

HP - thanks for posting that info, I'm sure it will help John out a lot!

Eastbaysubaru - you're on Crew A with Bryan, Thy and me. I tried to get all of us on the same group, but it didn't work. Maybe next year.

I'm bringing my easy-up, folding table, 2 folding chairs, 2-ring gas stove and a couple 16oz bottles of propane (though I'm not sure how much gas is left in them). I plan to cook up a big batch of pesto pasta tomorrow night and bring that with me to heat up and share on Saturday. How about some hot chocolate or tea as well?! I reckon it's going to be VERY COLD out there.

I am bringing:
folding chairs
mini camping stove
some sort of table(maybe a makeshift one)
water
ramen cups and kimchi
hot dogs
other crap food
coffee + french press
lots of water
15 million candle power rechargeable flash light and a hand wind up LED light
a couple of moving blankets, and some REAL blankets
warm stuff, all my ski gear + beanies
full size 16" spare (WRX)
clip board & pens
Camera and tripod to take some photos

This is going to be sweet! Who else is working control B? So far I know of myself, 1badrex, nKoan, and hp.
So we all get to hang out with each other and talk crap.
