In all seriousness I know its not this post but in the opening post you mentioned food and water for dogs.
Untill that point I had never even considered it. Im an all hell breaks loose situation I dont want to also deal with loosing my dogs due to no food.
Becasue of you I now have on hand a 3 month supply of dog food and extra water for the little guys. I rotate the food.
Anyway. THANK YOU.

The booties are in case the dog has to hike more than 4-5 miles, at that point their pads can become worn and sore, so booties will protect them for longer hikes.

I just stumbled across this site and thought it might be helpful for anyone looking to make an emergency kit: Are you prepared?

I have a backpack I take to work that has a good number of things in it. Just enough to get home or help out with minor situations.
