Becasue of you I now have on hand a 3 month supply of dog food and extra water for the little guys. I rotate the food.

Anyway. THANK YOU.
Your welcome, may I also suggest you pick up booties and a vest/saddle bag for the dog if he/she is big enough. You can pack 3-5 days food in one side and 10 or so water boxes in the other, and have the dog carry its own supplys if you have to GTFO the area.

The booties are in case the dog has to hike more than 4-5 miles, at that point their pads can become worn and sore, so booties will protect them for longer hikes.

I just stumbled across this site and thought it might be helpful for anyone looking to make an emergency kit: Are you prepared?

Your dogs should feast on the bodies of the weak, stupid, and/or vanquished.

Sadly they are both chihuahas so the odds of eating anything beyond small kibble, and carrying anything beyond thier weight is nil.

But I love those little ****s.....

I have a backpack I take to work that has a good number of things in it. Just enough to get home or help out with minor situations.
