Sad to see Nate go. Hopefully Pence will help with the horrible situational hitting, especially w/ RISP.

If you are lucky. But his situational hitting this season has been horrible. Especially with 2 outs. Have patience. He is very possibly going to frustrate the **** out you fans. He was great for us last season until the playoffs came around. He's been ok for us this year. Great arm, will make great throws. But he takes very odd routes to get to the ball.

 

Saw an interview with Pence. He didn't seem too excited about leaving Philly for SF.

 

He was basically blind sided. Been with the club a year then gets traded, I wouldn't be too happy either. Yea it's the nature of the game. Also he goes from a hitter's ballpark to the caverous pitchers heaven.

Hopefully for the Giants, he finds the spark he lost after last season.

 

Should be an interesting game tonight. Giants will be facing Jonathan Sanchez tonight on the mound. If they can't hit off Sanchez AND score in Colorado, I don't know what else to say. Either way, they will be facing Rockies starting pitching that all have ERAs over 5.0 (Sanchez has an 11.88 ERA in CO). If they can't hit off these guys, the Giants won't be going to the postseason IMO.

As for tonight's game, I'm going to guess Sanchez is going to bean somebody lol

 

Big time slump, and the pitching has been hittin' a rough patch.

 

I feel bad for Sanchez. Dude's lost his confidence and can't throw strikes anymore.

Yeah haha I turned the game on a bit late and sanchez was already out of the game...what an eigth inning..rockies pitcher is messin up baad

 

Rockies just plain gettin' the beat down... but it's the Rockies... so the question is, can the Giants do what they're supposed to do and make sure to win these games!

 

I was the same way, but then he became a dodger .............. again haha. he knocked us out two years in a row haha
