Scutaro is now out and getting xrays. Better hope they are negative. Hes been the hottest hitter for the Giants.

All I know is that they need to start fining and suspending guys for those slides. That was so damned dirty. He didn't even START his slide until he was on top of the base and we went straight at his knee.

There are delayed slides to keep your face in front of 1st base as long as possible. There are slides to make a guy jump or what not. There are slides to take a guy out. That was none of those. That slide had one intention... injure a man. He hit him right in the side of the knee. I blew my knee out like that. It ****ing sucks.

Those slides need to be stopped. Period. They are a bad part of the game. I think it's worst than a pitcher pegging someone in the leg or the back for talking **** or hitting too many home runs by miles. To me it's the most dangerous play in baseball.

Even the collision at home... it's more violent (see buster) but both guys know it's coming. I used to catch. It's a man thing. You want to take that hit and stand up with the ball in your hand and drop it on their face. But the slide in to second is totally unnecessary. It does very little to effect these top level ball players and just puts guys in danger.

That play pissed me off and really makes me not like Roy right now and I'm a fan of his.

Yea that was great. Good recognition that Freese was playing back and he figured he could leg it out.
