1. CF Pagan
2. LF Cabrera
3. 3B Panda
4. C Posey
5. 1B Huff
6. 2B Sanchez
7. RF Schierholtz
8. SS Crawford
9. P
Some notes on how/why I constructed my lineup:
-I think Bochy will use Cabrera in the 2 hole and Sanchez in the 6 due to the fact that Cabrera is a threat on the base paths and dropping Sanchez will give the bottom of the order some presence (especially after last year when the bottom of our order was just about obsolete offensively).
- I'm almost 100% sure that Bochy will use Panda and Posey (barring any setbacks from the injury) in the 3-4. Pablo had a great bounce back year and was our only legitimate threat in the lineup last year and I think we'll be counting on him just as much as we will be on Posey.
- I've heard that Bochy has said that he will give Huff about 40 games (give or take) to prove himself an everyday starter before he starts handing the job over to Belt (or possibly even Pill, with the way he has been playing this spring so far). Huff reportedly is in better shape this year and it he has played well so far.

I'm excited to (1) see Shierholtz start in RF, (2) see what Crawford can do at SS not to mention at the plate, and (3) see Sanchez back in the mix. I am also really hopeful that Pagan and Cabrera mix well in the clubhouse and produce on the field.
+1 on having Kruk and Kuip back!

Watching the 2nd half of the batting order... yeah.... not productive last year what so ever...

Pill is having a great off season. Huff is the veteran and he'll get the nod either way, he gets the benefit of the doubt because he's the older guy, and there is a lot of pressure on him to do better, because there are a couple of guys that can take his spot easily, one being Belt. So we'll see how well he does early on and the coach will make the change when he wants more out of that hitting spot.

Matt Cain will enter the 2012 season as the richest right-handed pitcher in baseball.
Cain, a pillar of the San Francisco Giants' stellar rotation, has agreed to a six-year contract that will guarantee him $127.5 million, a person familiar with the negotiations tells USA TODAY. He also will have a full no-trade clause and there is a vesting option for 2018 that could bring the deal to $141 million
