Don't jinx it.
No one started a thread this year because most were convinced Beane was trying to run the team into the ground. They've made it this far without having an i-club thread, so let's keep it rollin'!
11 walk off wins and counting. Thanks for adding to that count New York, god bless.

Agree with the above...I feel like kruk and kuip give a lot of credit to other teams, players etc...better than any other "hometown" announcers I have heard...giants always get downplayed by national sports anywhere...hell when was the last time you saw giants on espn top plays? Its all AL east teams
I was pissed when matt cain didn't get much recognition on sportscenter after his perfect game...they talked more about other pitchers who have done no hitters in this season
Don't even get me started on the warriors either hahaha its worse than what the giants go though

A's are reminding me of the 2010 Giants. Lotsa of walk offs, pitching is #1 in the MLB off the bench... WHAT? Ohhh yea, that will always keep you in contention somewhere.
I will be glad for the A's to get some recognition and get deep if not to the World Series... the stadium and area needs a real uplift instead of hearing San Jose all the time.

Kinda off topic but.... 10+ years in the majors and I still find it funny that Ichiro needs a translator LOL

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "if their team is losing they find themselves talking nonsense about other crap" but I believe that most announcers are going to be biased toward their own team that they are announcing for. As for Kruk and Kuip (Giants television broadcast announcers), I feel that they do give credit when credit is due to other teams. In fact, they don't hesitate to get on their own guys and call them out for bonehead plays. They are always going to have a bit of a bias toward the Giants because their main audience is Giants fans... but they aren't even close to as bad as say, Hawk Harrelson for the White Sox.
kruk said " (batters name) has been swinging the bat well against lincecum today"
during that phillies game, one of the commentators said "the batter with the most luck against hamels today is ___"
kuip said "a good inning for (padres pitcher)" after he struck out the side
commentator at phillies game said " phillies had a bad inning" after cain took them down

I hope Belt stays on top of his batting just like that!
