Official: Oakland Raiders 2013/2014 Season Thread
I tuned in to a few Raiders games because it was the only local thing on.. and Jones and Holmes drop big *****. Sure Holmes stretches and fights for some every now and then... but the amount of drops I saw from receivers, no one really set themselves to be "the man" when you gotta make the big tough catch.
Like I said, I've seen Holmes make some amazing grabs, but consistency is needed. TE/WR, someone needs to come up.

Looks like Oakland is high on Del Rio. I don't know if there's a better head coaching candidate for them either.
He got plenty of experience as an hc and was able to cobble together a competitive defense at Tampa. And Tampa didn't have a qb of Carr's caliber to carry the load.
Del Rio should be a good fit to solidify this defense, but I'm worried of what he can do to improve the offense who needs lots of help.

Bevell would be great cause he'd likely Axe Olson.
Basically... Olson is the issue.
