Noice! Next time if you feel inspired by the scotch, try a bottle of Balvenie Double-Wood. It's really great, a great way to "meet" scotch and so smooth you pretty much have to say "smoof" when you drink it.

Oh BTW I drank one of my Jubels - ended up with an extra so I put it in my face. The first couple sips were really good but honestly it would be cheaper to just punch me in the face. Probably a good sharing beer? Speaking of getting punched, I need to pick up some more Pliny.

I don't like being punched in the face....well maybe under the "right" circumstances and if she was really hot

Jacob, I was thinking the same thing about the Sierra 30th Stout and the Deschutes Abyss. Those, along with the Jubel are going to have to be sharing beers.

Bo, good call with the Scotch!

I have class 6-10, and at 7:50 I realized I forgot to set the dvr to record. I then realized Man vs Good was currently on the tv in the student store/lounge. I was supposed to be back from my break at 8, I was a little late

So, something happened and the DVR had gotten turned off, no Tres Sheetos.

No clue about Tuesday, may go down to Gilroy to put my summer wheels back on. BTW, I realized I forgot to bring your IIPA last week!

Sat at Rock Bottom and had two big H-Bomb IPA's while watching the Sharks put the Avalanche out of the series last week. I'm hoping that beer stays on the menu a while.

A buddy of mine will be in town, so if you're free we can all go grab a beer or something

So Jacob picked up the stuff to clean/prep/store the cask until we're ready to throw an English IPA in it.

Also, tonight I ordered the ingredients for my next brew, a (German?) Pilsner. Should be a little above 5% ABV. I think I'll call it "Take Your Pils" but that may change.

According to Corona, (NOTE: THAT’S FROM CORONA ITSELF) the reason for the lime is that “Corona is bottled in clear glass, and before our modern methods of refrigeration and transportation, the opportunity for spoilage from exposure to sunlight was increased. Therefore, the lime technique began as a measure to mask the skunky aromas caused by spoilage.”

So to paraphrase: “Our product spoils. We know it spoils, and we have taught people to put fruit in their beer to mask the fact that it is actually spoiled.”
