hehehehehehehehehe

So I'm not sure if I want to go all commercial tap handles or just a mixture of stuff.
I was going to go with the basic 3" black plastic, but then some friends got me the
Stone Levitation (yeah, I said the other day that the bottle I had recently wasn't that
great, but at the brewery it was good so I'm wondering if this was an off batch) so
that wont go well with the black ones. I think I can get the little ferrule that screws
on to the faucet, in which case I can pretty much turn anything into a handle, including
a stock shift **** I may or may not have laying around. Any ideas on what else?

Just figured out that the Lagunitas WTF ale is an "Imperial Brown," just giving you guys an idea of what it is like. I still suggest picking up a bottle... or 5 of it. My Safeway has it, and I noticed that the Safeway up in Tahoe had it, so I assume most will have it.

Here's why I post in this thread... So today I went out to get some cash and a sammich. I got bogged down in traffic, sat there aimed where I was headed for a while, was so hungry I was starting to get hangry. I saw Hillsdale on 101 and thought "oh, I'll stop at Whole Foods" even though I was planning on getting a tri-tip sandwich at Emergency BBQ.. I sort of forgot about that. See, I often think of some thing I need at Whole Foods that is a little obscure, but enough to get me in the store long enough to say to myself "I should check out the beer aisle" and then completely forget whatever it was that I came in the store for. Anyway, I left with this:

And...
Wait for it...
No sandwich.
Also - for extra credit, I always make sure my beer is safe...

Haha, nice Jacob! I stopped by BevMo tonight to grab a 4-pack of Sam Adams Imperial Stout. I ended up doubling my purchase by grabbing a Sierra Nevada 30th Anniversary Stout.

Picked up tonight on the way home from out-of-town Easter. Single batch brewed by the owner of Anchor Steam for SN. My WF got 10 cases last week and have gone thru 4 already! Imperial Stout, reminds me of Deschutes Abyss (which is why another bottle is chillin next to the Abyss I have thats a few months in.) Its tasty and I've got a buzz halfway through the bottle

...AND on a side note- Pliny shipments are, for the Campbell WF, Tuesdays every ~4 weeks. Expected this week

the MaiBock tastes good, finished a little higher gravity-wise than I had anticipated, but what else is new? Still needs to lager for a little longer. Tomorrow I'll be filling the CO2 tank so I can put it in a keg and condition it in the kegerator and start the next brew.
Bo, did you get a bottle of the Deschutes Jubel 2010? Bottle says to age it until at least 1/26/2011. That means I can't drink it until I'm 24! Oh well, it'll go next to the Old Guardian, Abyss, and Sierra 30th Stout (although I'm going to get a second bottle of that to drink soon). Maybe I'll crack them all open on my birthday next year.
Jacob, thanks again for the Jubel and the ESB. I like how I went to HMB with one 12 ouncer and left with a different 12 ouncer, a bomber, and a 2L growler!

Dude I won't be able to drink that 'til I retire! I'll see if I can find it tho
Picked up another 30th today as well, along wit dis-

Not quite a fan. I was looking for a nice crisp ale a la the label, but it turned out to be fairly heavily coriandered wheat. Reminiscent of Blue Moon Grand Cru. It WAS good, but not what I was looking for this evening.
