If I were not staying local I would be right there with ya, specifically with focus on Pliny the Elder and a taste of the Flanders on tap just to smack the palate.

So what is the plan for the beer week?

Red Oval is made by "Red Oval Brewery" of Monroe, Wisconsin (oddly, the same city as Minhas )

Dunno about the plan, have to check with my buddy. He's the one who owns the Bugeye and getting sued sort of distracted us from the beer. BACK ON TRACK!!! I really really want to do the IPA fest thing, even though it's in Hayward. Have to track down a "Safety Captain" and a driver (can never be the same person obviously).

What on earth is a Safety Captain? The IPA fest sounded good to me because it was both IPA's and free (I think) meaning if I end up having to work that day I wont be out any money.

This is the guy who slaps anyone who gets out of line. Used to be my big brother who actually still has the original "Safety Hero" badge we found somewhere and he wore at parties back in the day. Now it's usually my friend Ray who we also call "the Ninja." I think you met him the other day, not sure. He doesn't drink much but he can kick really high so if we get Jen to drive we are set.

Was he the one we abandoned at Devil's Canyon? Since the place is in Hayward, I say we just break into GST and crash in the backs of the plethora of GC's sitting there.

The last thing I head from SolSurferX was "Picked up some Pliny to try, the whole foods over here has it...bottled on Jan 6 it said..." I wonder if he died from over consumption of awesomeness.

I didn't know if you meant by me, Bo, or the Pliny source (Santa Rosa). Too bad I'm working tonight or I'd suggest going to Rock Bottom, I like the waitstaff there
