Kinda pissed at the fact that we didn't trade up for Benjamin and let Panthers grab him. He's going to turn out to be the best WR in this draft. We lack tall receivers and have always passed on them for some reason. Getting one would really open up our offense even more.

Then we go and grab a DB and hes not even top 5 from this draft. In Baalke I trust but not sure about this pick.

Benjamin could be good, but there were concerns about his weight fluctuations as well as his speed. He obviously is good for jump ball type situations because of his size, but if the 49ers were looking for a guy that could take the "Top Off a Defense" then Benjamin isn't really that guy. Great Red Zone Target guy though.

Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State, NFL Draft - CBSSports.com - NFLDraftScout.com

A couple of the WR names I've heard linked to the 49ers that could be guys to keep an eye on: Cody Latimer, Donte Moncrief, Allen Robinson & Paul Richardson.

Your guys parking situation is BS.

I would not accept having to be a season ticket holder and then having to park in a garage (doubt you can tailgate) and in commercial companies private lots (doubt you can tailgate). The closest lots are for VIP only. The farthest lot is over a mile away... Again, for season ticket holders.

Damn... That's crazy talk to me.

We'll just have to wait and see how it works out. My wife's side of the family has season tickets and I'll probably be going to the home opener vs the Bears if they can secure a few extra tickets.

All I know is that it can't be much worse than Candlestick. Let's just be honest there.

Last time I went to candlestick I parked in the outer lot (on the other side of the street).

Took me an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot.

For sure my only niners game was exactly like that. However, this will likely be far, far worse. If it was just 1 huge lot it would be similar to Candlestick where the road allows you to exit either to the north or the south.

In this situation you will have people walking to 15 different lots. that's a lot of streets to cross. I doubt they will have walkways setup for all those crossings.

Remember: These are all for season ticket holders only.

49ers Take On Joe Montana In Parking Space War | SportsGrid

Joe really, really, REALLY doesn't like the niners organization, does he?

For #49ers QB Colin Kaepernick: It’s a 6-year extension worth up to $126M with $60M guaranteed, source says. Under contract through 2020

I wonder how Alex Smith is feeling at this point seeing as he is still struggling to get a new contract and chances are his contract (if he gets one) will probably be for less than the amount that Kap just got.

I don't see him being worth that much.

If they had just paid peyton the 90 million for 5 years he wanted the niners would have 2 rings with him. No doubts about that that all.

Kap doesn't make the reads like he should, and he just can't keep running it forever. Eventually, if he doesn't improve his pocket play, this will catch up to him.

This also means that you guys are going to lose some big players next year cause there won't be too much money for all these FAs

I'm ok with the contract, it comes out to 15.7million per year with 60 guaranteed and it has a lot of incentives to make more. Obviously if hes making more, we're still competitors.

I think people are going to look back a year or two from now and realize what a great deal we got because I dont see prices for franchise QBs dropping anytime soon.

I hate the argument "If Peyton/Romo/Brady/Rogers was on the Niners, they'd have won a superbowl". Honestly we wouldn't have won **** with Greg Roman calling the plays. You have to remember how many games Colin had to use his legs to win. Neither of the QBs mentioned above gets this team past Seattle and infact most of them would get injured in the process because our Oline is notorious for taking games off.

Peyton runs his own offense. He'd have made SF the greatest NFL team ever known to man. That man would turn SF offense into something much better than it is with Kap. Plus that Defense?

C'mon man. It's a slam dunk...

Argument? There is no argument. With any of those 4 QB's the niners have 1 or 2 more rings. Period.
