I still laughed at the fact they can't catch false starts... I mean really? False starts? That's like the very very basic.
Tough to be them though, get booed and hassled by the coaches all day for calls made and or not made.

I think the game was played out exactly how the 49ers wanted it to be.. however that punt return by Cobb was a fluke, one questionable block in the back, and one BLATANT block in the back. When someone is trying to tackle somebody, and they end up diving forward onto their face 15 yards away from the play like Dixon... yea he got blocked in the back.
In any case, 49ers emphasized getting weapons and it sure showed. We got a bit of Moss/Crabtree/Davis/Gore/Hunter.
I enjoyed Gore's 23yard run, much better and less fragile looking with those runs. Hunter looks great. I want to see more of Kaepernick with the pistol/option route. Makes the attack even more confusing for defenses. Aikman pointed out anytime there is a 1v1 with Moss you gotta give that a shot. I think he's right, 49ers have so many weapons now that any 1v1, whether Davis/Moss/Crabtree are creating mismatches that 49ers can win more often than not. I'm excited about the rest of the season.
The 49ers had good yards and played the game exactly how they wanted it until the 4th quarter, but again the defense held at the end. I felt like they barely grazed releasing the full potential of the offense.
Akers 63yard kick was friggin awesome, especially the bounce on the post, up and over.
Davis also gave me a laugh when he got rejected by the goal post when he tried to dunk it.

Aside from all that, I was really impressed with Crabtree yesterday. I feel like this is going to be his coming out year. I think he is finally starting to put all the pieces together and has the potential to put up a pro bowl type of year. However, I was sad that we didn't get to see AJ Jenkins...
Also loved the way they split up the carries between Gore and Hunter. I'm digging the change of pace that Hunter offers to their backfield in complement with Gore.
All in all, the victory seemed very reminiscent of last year. Now let's bring on that cry baby Jim Schwartz and the Lions!

Do you mean that you want Kaepernick running the Wildcat? Nobody uses the pistol in the NFL (except I think the Steelers used it for a bit while Roethlisberger was hurt a few years back). While he is very fast, I don't think I'd really want to establish him as a running quarterback (a la Tim Tebow). The kid has a great arm...I think using him in such a one dimensional fashion doesn't make sense. Although he is a big guy, I could really only see a few instances where I'd want to see him in a run designed play...mainly trick plays, kind of like his big run in the first preseason game and the run in yesterday's game. Having him run a wildcat type offense will most definitely have him taking some big hits, which makes him more susceptible to injury. We have a very strong running game as it is, I don't feel like we need to change our offense to accommodate him. Also, you gotta remember, there is a reason Tim Tebow is being used in the wild cat...

Harbaugh always looks like he's a few games ahead thinking of how he can be 1 step ahead from the previous game. Showing plays over and over, and then in your game there is 1 more step to the play that the defense didn't see or was ready for.
Btw can we talk about how damn expensive it is to go to the games these days?! For example, the lowest priced ticket on StubHub right now for this weekend's game is $100!
Anyone else still in shock from the poor showing in Minnesota?
Game boiled down to passing accuracy, penalties and, last but certainly not least, corralling Ponder. Very disappointed in their execution in the phases of the game that they've shined in all last year & in the 2 previous games.

Gotta watch the video in the link. LoL, more well said than Harbaugh can give credit for.
