Deserved or not, the 49ers had chances.
1) Bonehead toss by Kaepernick, yes.
2) Akers sucking this year? Yes, even more so when the other guy kicks the game tying 53yard, and wins the game with a 54 yard, and Akers can't barry a 51yard which he was all money last year.
3) Walker drops a touchdown pass by Kaepernick in the final 2 minutes of the 4th quarter? 9/10 times Walker will make that easy catch and walk into the end zone.
49ers, whether ugly play call or not, had their chances of sealing the deal plenty of times. I don't like the way they handled the final kick, they could have gotten easy yards with Moss making Jenkins twist and turn in coverage.
I also don't like the play calling once there is a penalty on the offense. Almost all the time if there is some type of holding call the 49ers are backed up 10 yards and all of a sudden that 1st and 20 is a guaranteed impossible way to get a first down. Bomb the ball to Moss or some other receiver and give them a chance to make a play. Either way, I think they can take advantage of some of these match ups but they don't. In reality they didn't even need to, they put themselves with a chance to win but didn't make the plays.

it damn well better be Kaep. look at the end of the day Kaep is the guy and has been since day one. thats why Harbs picked him... if theres anything Harbs know its how to develop Qbs Josh Johnson, andrew Luck, Alex smith...ETC...this game everything went wrong so at the end of the day it is what it is but i still feel we have a better explosive offense with Kaep in ...

we just didn't really show up today. Played ok defense but we really didn't put together that great of an offensive showing. Kap will start again for sure and we will play a much better game against the dolphins next weekend

The frustrating part is that we played the same team 2 weeks ago and they gave us the same issues. The game planning was terrible. Rookies make mistakes and we could've won if a lot of things went a bit different. At the end of the day, the playcalling doomed us.
If CK7 is the man going forward, stop the conservative playcalling. Let the guy air the ball out when the games on the line. Dont run up the gut for 2 downs and then expect him to get you a first down on 3rd and long every time.
Our Kryptonite seems to be teams with huge defensive lines and RBs with dreads.
