I was not saying the two were the same and I have never said Williams should of stayed in the game after that point. I was pointing out that the crew that worked the super bowl had the same issue in the regular season and did nothing.

The Gore fines are because of his stubbornness and nothing else. Every player in every game is subject to the same rules. It is not the league targeting the 49ners and, in case you missed it before players, warn the player and give him opportunities to fix the uniform violation and when they refuse they get fined.

 

Remember when Justin Smith got ejected because he put one arm out on a ref in Seattle? Yeaaaaa and this guy put a whole 2 hands and a full shove on a ref and doesn't get booted.

I'm sorry but when folks are "in the moment" you can't just call one and not call the other. Dude shoulda been booted, Superbowl or not, you don't get "special" status.
