Niners should have won by 12+ over 60mins. Instead they got steamrolled in the first half+2nd kick off. Then they come back to be very close. Then you get 1st and goal on the 7... and you offense falls apart.
But you guys clutch that holding call as if it's automatically going to get you a TD... is it? You didn't do it in 3 other tries! a holding call is what? 5yards? So you get half the distance to the goal and repeat 4th down. Another fade to Crabtree? NOW you are going to run it on the last play you got? You have any idea how it's still stacked against you?
and 1:50 seconds is PLENTY of time for the ravens to come right back down the field, with 2 TO btw, and kick a FG to win it. From Justin Tucker, who's been CLUTCH this year!
The only FOR SURE thing that lost you this game is the 1st half play. Ignore it all you want, but that's why you lost. You got the team going in the 2nd half, but that 1st half just shouldn't have been like that.

I think the more legitimate complaint on penalties, not that Jim was right to complain about Crabtree, was the 2pt conversion offsides. I'm sorry, but if you can have the game TIED, and Ravens boot a FG, then that is a totally different dynamic vs being down 5 pts. 3pts vs 5pts changes everything there.
The fact, and you can't even doubt this. The dude off the edge unabated to the QB and no call? Not sure what that was about. ****ing 2pt conversion for tie, everyone's eyes was on the field, how the **** did the line judge miss that flag? But they sure got the Books/Smith double offsides didn't they.

sickening watching the JJ kickoff return and seeing holds all over the place on espn every 5mins. im over it now. we deserved to lose after the first half play. i dont think well get a chance next year due to our division being very very competitive now. my guess is hawks will win it out.

And the late hit on Flacco would have change things too. It's over nothing you can do about it.
There are missed calls on every play, someone is hold someone on every play, they aren't going to call everything. There was only a total of 7 penalties called in this game, they let a lot of things go.
49ers will be contenders for years to come, and could possibly win multiple SB with the team they have now. Be happy about that.
Unlike my Raiders, who will suck for years to come
But I can look forward to the Sharks & A's this season.

Almost all penalties that happen on defense is an automatic first down, sides the offsides prior to snap. You get 4 more plays actually than just a repeat of 4th down. I understand your point. 49ers play calling sucked during those last 4 plays. There should have been multiple options called. I mean Frank Gore just gashed them for 33 yards. Not sure why you would pass the ball 3/4 times when your running game has proven difficult to stop. Gore had 19 rushes for 110 and a TD. Have an option and use Kaepernick's legs or let Gore gash them again.
This.
It would have been 4 new downs...not a 5 yard penalty and repeat the down. 4 new downs = TD from the 2 for the niners. (you'd think the same from the 5 as well...)

Dude im not looking at any team through rose color glasses, but you may need to go to Lenscrafters and get some new glasses cause I don't know what you were watching. NON CALL ON TOREY SMITH??? the **** are you talking about? If ANYTHING AT ALL that was OFFENSIVE pass interference. Rodgers had the interception if torey smith didn't throw his arm around his face to impede his view and attempt to make the play. How do you miss these things when they show them in slow-mo replay?
You need to watch some replays man....even all over sportcenter they are highlighting the HOLD on crabtree AND (i didn't even know this at the time) a HOLD on DELANEY WALKER ON THE EXACT SAME PLAY...yeah human error is part of the game, yeah both sides probably got lucky on a couple plays. The point is..if your going to call the HOLDING on CULLIVER against BOLDON on a 3rd and 9 and give the ravens a free first down....STAY CONSISTENT ON YOUR ****ING HOLDING CALLS.
yeah yeah yeah..i meant field goal. stepped on a guy and fell? Go crawl into your $10,000 home in baltimore and jack off to ray lewis reading some scripture. Your obviously biased, as every play you are bringing up and commenting on happened differently then how you describe it..
Do they have Lenscrafters in baltimore?

#2 I live in California as my profile to the left clearing shows so your pathetic insult is clearly invalid and the fact that you have to use insults to prove your point shows you have no argument to stand on and are incapable of arguing anything.
#3 I describe the plays how they actually happen you just don't know what play I'm talking about since it must be impossible to remember a call that helps outs your teams way since your team, in your opinion, is always the victim. I'm also not a fan or hater of either team.
#4 The fact that you think there was not a hold at the end of the Atlanta game says a lot. Should of it been called? No. Did it happen? Yes, just like the Superbowl
#5 By you going right to a conspiracy theory is pathetic and insane. Look at your team and realize they lost the game and if you were the better team you would of never put the game in the hands of the Refs to begin with.
then unlatch your claws from the raven's ******** if you're from cali. You don't describe plays accurately...tune your rabbit ear tv to sportscenter and watch carry williams run into akres knee. This time put your glasses on.
What shows I have no argument? Insults? Oh like the word 'pathetic' right? Hypocrite.
Conspiracy theory? Calm down man...don't let your blood pressure raise too much.
Have fun cheering for the Raiders the next 5 seasons. You wont have to worry about 'your team' leaving the game in the refs hands, cause 'your team' wont be in the playoffs until they move them out of oakland.

Your comment about my blood pressure is hilarious since you are the one who went caps locks crazy right after the game. Attempting to argue with you is obviously a mute point since you don't read my posts and instead just make posts saying I'm an idiot homosexual who is aroused by men reading scripture..
Also, I am a Raider fan and because of this I don't like football nor will I for a long time.....

I know we lost the game in the first half but to stop the momentum via uncalled offsides of Ed Reed on the 2point that lead to a sack and calling a PI on the drive before on Culliver but not for us on the 1 yard line just stinks of rigged.
Ofcourse it all makes sense when you remember how the season started with a question mark with blatant bad reffing (golden tate td with a hand on the ball lol) and ended with one.
That said lets move on. No point in dwelling on this. Next season we need:
-new fg kicker,
-someone opposite Aldon that can pass rush
-another rookie of Justins caliber to take over when he retires (yea right)
-I cant believe Im saying this but Tyrann Mathieu aka the Honey Badger. Dont think we can or should want to afford Revis coming off an injury and wanting a big contract so Honey badger might be our best option if we can grab him and keep him off that weed. His weed issues should have him slipping to late rounds possibly
-A big TE opposite Vernon. Been saying this since last year. It makes another huge target to go to. Im hearing Ertz might slip down to round 2 and he would be the perfect guy. His hands are so good compared to a lot of the other TEs in the draft. This opinion might be biased since Im a Stanford homer.
-Another quality WR if we decide to let Moss go although Im hoping Jenkins steps it up this upcoming year and becomes Rice v0.5
Im scared of what Seattle is going to become this upcoming season. All of their rookies have atleast a year under their belts. Their only weakness being a quality WR. I see them flat out dominating next year and taking #1 seed. I think our secondary needs to start watching how physical their corners play and emulate that. If we had that this year, no doubt we'd be holding the Lomabardi. We shouldnt have to rely on the pass rush to make our secondary look good.

2012 Regular Season Penalties:
SF Penalties 126 - Ranked 3rd in the NFL
OAK Penalties 109 - Ranked 11th in the NFL
SF Penalty Yards 1103 - Ranked 2nd in the NFL
OAK Penalty Yards 939 - Ranked 11th in the NFL
So, sure, we definitely had a penalty problem for a LONG, LONG time. But Dennis Allen has been the first coach in a long time to actually do something about it. I expect them to improve as the years go on.
And I don't think any Raiders fan here is taking their frustration out on the Niners SB performance. There are plenty of Niners fans who are saying the same things on 95.7FM, and Facebook.
Once the emotion wears off, you will probably see that their first half play FAR outweighs any missed penalties.
I wanted you guys to win, but that first half was just a hole too deep.
