....This is one of the few places I can think of that can support the kind of vehicular turn-out you're going to get. The Park Presidio option also sounds nice.

I have to disagree, it might look bigger, but I think the total space count here is only a bit over 200, maybe 250 tops
There is no place left for much in the way of autocross or anything else, as that lot would be nearly if not totally full.
Its a great place for the smaller meets, but I don't think its up for the big one.

Having a race track is nice- especially if you have a helmet and roll cage and track tires and.....but we are talking about a social gathering of the wider Subaru community.
I really like the idea of having an autocross along with it but much more involved than that and I think you'll lose a lot of the core constituency, not to mention that 2 hours drive up 80,505, and 5- just not my idea of a particularly good time- unless there's a couple of days worth of back roads thrashing to be found at the end of the trip.

I'm definitely going to be there...I just wanted to complain that's all. I'm a woman...nagging is like 2nd nature to us. I really could care less where it's at as long as I can enjoy some grub.

Awesome suggestions everyone. Thanks Pete, your pics are VERY helpful.
This is not a race-track event... It's a social gathering, so you can meet your fellow sube-peeps. An Auto-x would be amazing... Just Subarus.
