+1 for Treasure Island.
What would be the expected vehicle attendance for an event this large? The Great Lawn can accomodate 200 vehicles, and if that's not enough, the Fogwatch Picnic Area can accomodate 75 more.

As far as planning a group motoring event, may I also suggest the 49-Mile Scenic Drive, which originally began at City Hall and ended at Treasure Island.

Yes, while I understand that it's not as invigorating as the Hammy run, but there are less chances of someone having an "oops", while at the same time highlighting some of the most interesting scenery of San Francisco.

treasure island does have an abundance of parking spots. Plus some spots you can drive to and park and get some awesome pics... here is some pics i took two years ago on treasure island

Can someone please go and see if they started demolishing the old condos yet? they are next to the big lot.
If not, then I'll talk to Daniel about it and see if we should pursue TI. Looks like with Insurance and rental for the lawn area we are looking at about $650.
It's late June, and we need to get on this if we want something by the end of Summer.
